Ha, been away from the computer and emails all day and then just checked this thread and saw like 30+ posts and figured even before opening the thread that it must be actually happening.

Hopefully it winds up going on Mon but everything I've read has been NET 17 Apr & NLT 21 Apr so hopefully they can get it up (so to speak) sometime next week even if there is an issue come Monday.

I'm down here this morning for the causeway 10k and visibility was maybe 2 miles at 7a. Luckily a cold front is sweeping thru tomorrow and visibility should be perfect Monday morning.

Overnight, something fell from the tower at Starbase. People are speculating it might have been the counter weight for the elevator. Hopefully no delays because of it.
Or maybe it'll be postponed until 4/20.

Some connected folks down there are saying if it doesn't launch Monday it would probably be mid-May before the next attempt due to litigation.

With booster ultimately flying up to ~20 times per day & ship flying up to ~5 times per day.

Useful load to Mars is ~150 metric tons, but requires ~5 orbital refilling tanker flights.

Target: >1 megaton of cargo & people delivered to Mars, so that it becomes self-sustaining.

Hard to say, nearby security cameras caught a glimpse of the suspect who appeared to be wearing some sort of green camouflage face paint to obscure their features. The video is short as the suspect quickly disappeared into a storm drain.

When Starship goes to the moon expect fueling flights to launch every couple days for multiple weeks.

What good does a date do? He's talking in theoretical limits of flight, land, refuel, flight cadences. If SpaceX only ever gets to 10 flights per day is Starship suddenly a failure? 5 flights a day? 1 flight a day?

Dates are important sometimes, other times they're a hindrance. Is Musk delusional? Yes, that's what has him trying to get to 20 re-flights a day while the rest of the industry has been using expendable rockets.

So this is the first time firing all booster engines to 100% throttle, is that right? If it gets to stage separation it will be quite the accomplishment. The power density from those engines all together is hard to comprehend.

Seems like we are getting a bit short handed by not seeing a landing attempt, they've been so close. I expecting nothing but a great launch.
