Cooper Tire is in Ohio and BF Goodrich is in NC so it could be a net gain for Trump.

Those two companies combined have only 30% of the employees Goodyear has in Ohio alone. (Also BF Goodrich is now Michelin)

Or, Biden could not be discriminatory and say the slide was crap and he supports the police and racial equality, but I guess that's too much to ask these days. Trump taking a position makes Biden take a position if he chooses to comment. They'll have to round table it, then poll test it, and then focus group it to see what position he'll take. By that time, this will be a non-issue and we'll be talking about how Barr/Trump used Operation Legend to arrest the guy from Portland right before the RNC.

At the end of the day, who really gives a **** other than libtards with TDS?

The Democratic party wants to end Oil&Gas and you talk about the fallout from an effing tire company who themselves chose a political side?

Pretty stupid of Goodyear. I would guess majority of the customers would align with conservatives/Trump.

Think about it. MAGA "rednecks" buy tires for their lifted trucks & toys. Soyboy leftists take public transportation, ride a bike, or get a ride in their mothers minivan. They don't buy tires.
I love these fantasies that are regularly constructed on here.

Prove him wrong

Many people buy tires.
Many people choose a brand of tire
Some people will not choose Goodyear due to this stance.

Trump prefers Russian-made tires.
What is good for the goose is good for the gander. If the left uses their "boycott" weapon against conservatives, why not conservatives use it against companies that choose to discriminate.

He needs to prove himself right. Everyone buys tires.

I think they're stupid, but they'll be just fine. This is a temporary market reaction that will probably be erased in a few weeks or months when traders find something else to look at.

Oh I'm sorry I got confused. OBVIOUSLY not being allowed to wear political clothing on the job ranks at the same level of thought as to how they'll pay their bills, or how this impacts their 401k with all those stock options.

Who brought this gd , ignorant, policy up? I get that Moose would do it at his company because he could never have a corporation that didn't use other peoples money. But damn, to accuse Trump of this is 100% ignorance.

Like most on the Left, if they can't steal it by taxing other people, then they won't risk it.

Hopefully half of the country isn't so dumb as to think a policy prohibiting the wearing of clothing supporting a particular political candidate at their workplace is something to get pissy over. But you might be right.

I don't know if you realize this, but the need to feed their families might just maybe outweigh how much they care about wearing a MAGA hat at work.

Maybe they should voice their displeasure to their idiotic marketing, legal, policy, ops, and senior leadership departments.

These types of company mandates aren't made lightly and without buy-in, especially large corporations

I do not have any scientific study to prove my hypothesis/opinion.

As I said in another post I think people on the left & the right buy tires. However, I think overall customers that lean on the right of the political spectrum would purchase more tires over those on the left.

Stereotypes of right leaning/rednecks are they drive big trucks (need tires), drive 18-wheelers (need tires), tractors (need tires), trailers to haul their boats/horses/junk (need tires), drive go-karts/ATV/gators/golf carts (need tires).

Stereotypes of left leaning/snowflakes are they drive a Prius (need tires...and sniff their own farts), take public transportation (city/govt buys those tires), ride bikes (need tires), go hiking (don't need tires), go surfing (don't need tires), drink IPAs (don't need tires), march/protest/riot (don't need tires).
