Given the color of the smoke, my first thought is an ammonium nitrate explosion.

I don't think those were fireworks. Likely smaller explosions of whatever eventually went up. This was an insane video. You can see that as the main fire starts to really take off, the smaller explosions intensify.lunchbox said:
