Wasn't there some sort of sexual harassment issue in the Anthropology department a while back? Just may be that he knows where the bodies are buried. He may be untouchable because of it.
No untenured faculty are untouchable. This is not someone who sits on a scandal. Getting another 15 minutes is what he's all about..........Ag4coal said:

You need to get him in the picture to have any chance of a report having even a dent of an effect.
Whats the angle with the Corps?
This. You have to take a video or perfect quality picture of him placing it or it will have zero effect. If you can do that, F16 can put it out there. We need the proof though.
I am an eye witness to it, can describe what he was wearing and some other details but I don't think he was doing anything illegal or probably even reprimand him. He left it at some other places as well, pretty much any major A&M statue/monument so if you're walking around campus go ahead and grab it.
Now that's what you call exposing hypocrisy. Worth repeating.agent-maroon said:PabloSerna said:
It's a piece of paper with a message on it - don't read it.
It's a hunk of bronze with a message on it - don't read it.
Say both out loud and then maybe you'll know how stupid it sounds
Equally to the point, would removing every possible link or reference to past injustices, real and imagined, satisfy them?titan said:
That is another thing that has accomplished absolutely nothing. Imagine if you will, one week after they have taken down all or removed all they want of things most people don't even think about. Will a single meaningful issue have been solved? A single useful step toward something productive achieved?

I had more in mind the posts on MLB - NBA ratings -- that this stuff is futile and just divides if you are not asking for some specific that makes any sense. Kardashian is the only one so far that seemed to get that. Generalities just serves the DNC and MSM and doesn't help a group.74OA said:Equally to the point, would removing every possible link or reference to past injustices, real and imagined, satisfy them?titan said:

A defining characteristic of any such movement is that it must always generate fresh grievances and demands or its reason for existence disappears.

Where is everyone getting this idea that he is untenured? Associate Professor = Tenured
Quote:
2. Tenure and Associate Professor. Since promotion to the rank of associate professor is usually linked to the
awarding of tenure, both are discussed here. In some circumstances a person may be appointed from outside
the University to a senior rank without tenure, in which case the subsequent awarding of tenure is deliberated
in the context of the requirements of the rank.
