If I were a police officer investigating a crime.

Then the same guy comes up and questions officers onsite.
The same guy posts and points out when additional cameras were added at the crime scene.
The same guy shows up to multiple protests and gets arrested at the crime scene.
The same guy starts leaving notes at the crime scene.
The same guy comes back drawing with chalk all over the same crime scene.
The same guy makes almost daily treks on his bicycle to the crime scene.
The same guy uses pseudonyms and aliases on multiple social media platforms to talk about the statue and crime scene.

I might just put that guy at the top of my list of suspects.

SIAP, but why do we not have a security camera on Sully 24/7 and the surrounding plaza until this vandalism crap stops? It's not like it would be expensive and/or technologically difficult.

Obvious answer is they don't wan't proof or to discourage these clowns, but I would like to give the benefit of the doubt and have someone explain why this didn't happen weeks ago.

I do not know if they are still there but they had multiple portable surveillance cameras onsite after the FELONY vandalism.

I am an eye witness to it, can describe what he was wearing and some other details but I don't think he was doing anything illegal or probably even reprimand him. He left it at some other places as well, pretty much any major A&M statue/monument so if you're walking around campus go ahead and grab it.

The university issued a full on statement of condemnation of Divisive words on a piece of paper (that turned out to be a self perpetrated hoax). If, as you say, his ideology is "diseased" then it won't stand up against the truth.

They took those cameras down a day or so after the last protest. There are other, permanent cameras though.

What a sad little man. Stuck in a place he hates in a dead end job. Trapped because he is so mediocre he can't move up to his "Utopia" dream job. Times are different now. Social media has changed everything. There is a concerted effort by the MSM, Hollywood, and most in Academia to indoctrinate children. To believe otherwise is foolish. If you take a minute to look through your kids' FB, 99% of what you will see is liberal. They are almost completely exposed to only one side - every day. The other side is vilified. Why would they want to remain on the "wrong" side?

Today, people are getting fired for things their wife said or something they said in 1987. Being on the "wrong" side can have serious consequences. If you can't objectively see what is going on, regardless of what side you are on, you are not paying attention.

That is another thing that has accomplished absolutely nothing. Imagine if you will, one week after they have taken down all or removed all they want of things most people don't even think about. Will a single meaningful issue have been solved? A single useful step toward something productive achieved?
