I've already given up my season tix. But I would buy single game tix for every home game with an all walk on team of Aggies that wanted to play for and represent Texas A&M. I probably have "watched" more Aggie games on the radio than I have seen in person at Kyle Field.
So yes I am old.

It's just a few people stirring it up and screaming. The majority of Aggies just doesn't support this. I love the tweets where they threaten Young and Sharp the best. The two girls leading the protests tweet so much I wonder if they do anything else.

You might recall that everyone was fine with the arrangement where old white men donate millions to provide top-notch facilities to the student-athletes. The old white men were not the ones that changed the equilibrium.

So far, has there ever been a list detailing how any of the protesters lives would be aided IF Sully was removed as they desire/demand. I would like to see at least a list of 1-5 ways their lives would benefit, or is 1-5 is too difficult, how about 1-3.

I also doubt more than 2 of the protesters, if that, even knew the statue was there prior to some BLM person got into their head and is laying out those flumsy speeches that Mond spoke to enlighten the rest of us. It was ptiful at best.


This is orchestrated and they are just looking for publicity even if negative publicity.

I would take care not to use a broad brush concerning the football players. I'm only aware of 4 activists and one of those at least remained respectful in his discourse. I suspect there are a good number that aren't down with the cause and hope they don't have to commit one way or the other due to immense pressure. Of course, this is where dumbass Young's posturing, instead of leadership, is again disgraceful. With all his virtue signaling he's leaving a lot of top notch Aggies of color who want no part of this in the potential crosshairs of the woke crowd.

There will be a jump in ticket sales and donations if the admin takes this stand.

We deserve players who want to play for A&M. The players need A&M more than A&M needs them.
It's time they learned what student-athlete means. They haven't played down as a salaried. professional in a union. They still have to play to be able to keep going to class and get the teams to notice them.

with the surplus of repossessed schollys, let's reward the PWOs - particularly the seniors - that turned down other opportunities because they bleed maroon.

Fisher should hold a team meeting. At that meeting, he should ask who wants to play Aggie football and who does not.

Anyone that does not, off the team with no scholarship.

That way their will be no confusion and team unity will be preserved.
