Roland - Lawrence Sullivan Ross did more for the education and advancement of Black people than you have.

I don't care what he thinks and I don't care if A&M football players strike.
Football players that don't play football only hurt themselves. Not me.

Like I said, I disagree with him on most of what I've heard him say, and he's definitely drifted into race-baiting on occasion, not to mention his purported involvement in the debate rigging.
But his love for A&M is as genuine as any of ours.
It's because it's not about Sully- it's about SJW/critical race theory acolytes flexing. It's about hoisting the black power banner over Sully and seeing if they can make the A&M administration and Former Student base "bend the knee".Mayor West said:

Is he why we cancelled our journalism school?chap said:sanangelo said:

It's as obvious as the day is long that the statue isn't confederate, doesn't oppress anyone, and removing it would not improve race relations.

also where is this museum on campus that everyone keeps talking about moving the statue to?
I"m only aware of the one at Kyle and the Corps center?

Oh please strike. Please, I beg of you. I implore the scholarship players to take the season off and hang out with Sully screaming and writing new posters.
BECAUSE, I'd vote for a huge walkon try out. I would root for the walk-on players, the true 12th Man, with extreme enthusiasm and vigor. I'd pay top $$$ to watch walkons run out on Kyle Field. 0-12, I wouldn't care. I'd celebrate a first down.
Might be the best season in decades.
that's my issue to, BLM doesn't have anything to do with is.halfastros81 said:
While I completely and totally disagree with Martin's opinion and his suggested actions with regard to Sully and the football team, I also completely agree he has a right to his opinion.
Any players that agree and act accordingly I'd be 100% in favor of them all losing their scholarships. Sure almost all of them have other options. That's fine... take them and go. If the team has to suck because of it... so be it. Football/Sports shouldn't be the prime driver of Texas A & M culture nor American culture.I love A&M football but that would be the end of it for me if A&M caved in.
This whole statue ridiculousness has nothing to do with what BLM purports to fight for. For that matter , BLM has very little to do with what BLM purports to fight for even though they have suckered a fair number of people into thinking they do.
And that is the point....BQ_90 said:thought that was library and held archives. Not sure I've ever set foot in there.aggiehawg said:Cushing.BQ_90 said:

Agree, but if I call you a murderer or a rapist or a pedophile. And the comeback is, well you're still an Aggie and I forgive you. That seems wrong. He's not Aggie he's accused most of us of being a racist, when there was no hatred there at all. It's like me calling you a murderer and you've never hurt anyone. I'm sorry, but he's wrong and he needs to humble himself and apologize. I love the kid but he's hurt many people(Aggies) by his false accusations.
