The amazing thing about TexAgs is you can click on some of these posters names and see them saying this was no big deal a month or so ago, and week by week moving the goalposts.
You should be able to get one at Walgreens or CVS.Exsurge Domine said:
Do any of you gents have pulse oximeters? Might be a good way to self diagnose if you come down with allergies, a cold, the flu or coronavirus. I believe I read that coronavirus victims will have o2 sats below 94%

Coronavirus: Hubei city reopens for business, then closes again 30 minutes later
- Government of Qianjiang says controls on movement of people and traffic to end at 10am on Wednesday, but provincial authorities order them to be reinstated at half past
- All cities and counties in Hubei have now been given a risk classification and business is slowly returning to normal in some areas
Authorities in a central Chinese city close to the epicentre of the
coronavirus outbreak
have discovered that getting back to normal after weeks of living under lockdown is far from easy.
At 8.30am on Wednesday, the government of Qianjiang which lies about 150km (90 miles) east of Wuhan, the capital of Hubei province said that all restrictions on the movement of people and traffic would be lifted at 10am. They were.
Then, at 10.30am, they were reinstated.
"The city will continue its restrictions on the movement of traffic and residents," the government said, without elaborating.
About two hours later, the Hubei government issued a statement outlining the different restrictions that applied to each city within the province based on their particular situation.
And unfortunately for the people of Qianjiang, despite having the lowest number of confirmed cases of Covid-19 of any city in Hubei, the provincial authority classed it as "high risk" and ruled that all public transport would remain suspended.
It also said that only a handful of businesses in key sectors were permitted to resume their operations.
You serious, Clark? This is standard triage practice - where respirators are limited, you help the people that you think will survive with treatment. In this case, the older the person, the less likely survival is.Quote:
Socialists think its cruel, but resource allocation based on money is still the most humane system when compared to the blatant age discrimination being adopted by the Italians.

One difference between this and the flu is that Twitter will announce each new infection and each death. It will also blast any outlier like it's about to happen to

Part of Italy's death rate problem is that they're just not treating anybody above 65 OR with lots of comorbidities. (Info not from 4chan, from actual people over there).
They're literally just letting these people die and these are the ones that have a high mortality with treatment.
Still feel that way after what's been posted on this page.
Like I said this morning, this is a big deal. We have the technology to take care of people but we do not have the resources to do it if a lot of people get sick at once.

Trump said the administration would restrict "all travel" to the U.S. from Europe, which is reeling from the epidemic, for the next 30 days. The United Kingdom will be exempt from the new limits, which Trump said will go into effect on Friday at midnight.
"These restrictions will be adjusted subject to conditions on the ground," the president said of the European Union travel curbs.

I have a surgeon buddy who works at a hospital in Arkansas. Tells me they had a 30 y/o admitted with ARDS/respiratory failure. Long hospital course. Eventually expired. Family requested autopsy. Path report - ARDS due to, you guessed it, coronavirus. Not tested because lack of "travel hx/exposures." Egregious to me. Innumerable exposed there.
