From what I have read, routine Coronavirus cases are milder than routine flu. Fever and mild cough.

Just as with the flu, the older you are and the more existing health conditions the worse it has he potential to be.

Aggie student just told me that TAMU adding two additional days of Spring Break meant two more days for students to go to Northgate, share vapes, share drinks and make out with random people. Unfortunately probably accurate

The overwhelming chances are CV won't harm you at all. Same with the flu. BUT, the chances things go south and get worse is also higher for CV than the flu. The two aren't mutually exclusive. We don't have to buy into the liberal hype. But we also don't have to say stupid **** like "it's just the flu".

Got first confirmed coronavirus case yesterday. Now today, the number of confirmed corona virus cases is increased to 8 with 1 death. Principal of a school got it and died and 2 other teachers at same school now also sick. 66 people currently under observation.

Suspended all national events and some schools have been suspended until April. Universities still open but we will see over next week if it gets a major foothold here and they have to crack down further on activities.

Someone needs to explain to those 8 people that it's all liberal media hype and that Texags said warm weather would prevent it.

The Frisco man's family all have it now (he, his wife and 3 kids). A Frisco Facebook group had someone who claims to be a family friend saying they are self-quarantined, don't need medical assistance, and all feel like they have the flu.

Pray for their healing and comfort.

Hope all of those were imported. Sustained transmission in a hot and humid environment wouldn't bode well for this thing dying off during the summer.

Panama also has a 'flu' season when rainy season starts, so I have never been sure what to think about warm weather coming to save the day. At least not all by it's lonesome. My take is it probably helps a bit for a few different reasons but isn't a magic immunity bullet.

Read it again, it is 1 death.

And no one said that warm weather would stop the virus in its tracks, but rather than warmer weather might slow it down as that is what happens with many other respiratory viruses.

There have been a lot of elderly who have made it out alive as well.

Some more good news (I'm in Houston).

Someone I know (and have been in contact with) has been sick for a week. Found out today he was tested for coronavirus and it was negative.

He's in his 20s, so any risk would have been low, but they are in fact testing people, probably more frequently than we even know about.

In the public maybe. From what I read the CDC has kept samples of everything going back to the Spanish Flu. Yes there's still samples of that in a lab somewhere.
