He last worked on 2-21 at LAX and did not have any symptoms until 2-29.

Beyond that, the woman from Ft. Bend just read the talking points about what to do and not to do that we've all heard a million times and that was it.

From the Houston lab director:

They began running tests today, and this result was the only positive one. Tomorrow will be the first full day of tests as they're submitted, but they will still have to be prioritized. They will not test someone quickly if they have no symptoms, travel history, or no known contact with an infected person. (In other words, you're not going to get tested just because you want to be.)

One thing they pushed a lot is if you are sick with any kind of respiratory virus, you need to stay home.

They won't say how many people this person came into contact with ("we're still investigating") nor will they say where he traveled to. They did say he does not have any preexisting conditions. They will not say where the person lives nor which hospital he is in. They would not say what airline he flew or which airport he flew into.

Edit: One thing I did gather from their comments. It sounds like the guy used his brain and didn't just roam around while sick. He contacted his doctor who probably figured out the guy could have the Kung Flu and the process went from there.

They also wouldn't put a number on how many samples they have to test now that problem with the test kits have been worked out.

There are a lot of retired people that live full-time on cruise ships. They get a room and all the food they can eat for $75/day. Entertainment is included.

Wanted to drop in an thank you for this. I did not know what this was, so I googled it, and bought a 32oz container from Amazon. Then, a few minutes after I submitted it, the news dropped that there is a probable case in Ft. Bend County. I am in Sugar Land. Bought a pump off ebay, since they are backordered on Amazon for 3 weeks. How many pumps? Would you do this once a day? Any other input/advice?
