Why try to make this political with misinformation?
Just an honest question. Trump called the Coronavirus a hoax last night and all under control so wondering how far he will push that rhetoric. It's trump after all?

Have some decency.
Someone has died from an illness we don't know a lot about yet
My critique on the person who can do the most to save lives is not an indecent attack on the dead. Quite the opposite actually.

It'll end up being a 78 year old obese individual with diabetes and underlying heart failure.
So what? A death is a death.

If we are being honest there's not a lot a president can do now but get out of the way, be positive, and allow emergency funding where needed. He's just a man and the virus doesn't care who he is.
SUag said:Bo Darville said:
It's clear he's talking about the democrat accusations to how he's handling the response and the budget "cuts".
On yea? Then why did he say only 15 people in US have it and all under control (another lie by the way)?
Why do you give him a pass for lying about the Coronavirus?

Unfortunately that's the type of people who are disproportionately likely to die from this. That being said, some years the flu mortality for those >75 is up to 5% (like in 2017-2018).

What an ignorant and glib statement. The POTUS is the most powerful person in the world on almost any issue.
For pandemics, for example, he can, at the very least, ensure Americans have the best and most up to date info on what is happening and how to protect their families. Bottlenecking the info flow and putting a non-health professional in charge of the info is incredibly dangerous at best and may end up costing lives.

JUST NOW: CNN interviewer to a doctor:
What do you want the President to say?
He needs to stop saying it's a hoax.
What sort of damage will he cause by calling it a hoax?
People will not take it seriously, etc.
ALSO--the death in Washington was in Seattle, not someone already identified.

You would find something to criticize about what he did. No matter what he did. Just admit it.
Attacking the person as a defense to the issue? What a waste of time.
