i just had like 300,000 calories of survival rations dropped off by amazon. Probably a good thing to have regardless.

I picked up another 20# of rice and beans along with a couple more sanitizers. I've been slowly building up my stockpile every time I visit the store.... Everyone at work was looking at me like I was crazy when I bought extra p100 cartridges for my respirator and extra food. After the CDC's latest briefing they left work a little early to do some shopping.

Apparently I'm looking smart now, I was really hoping to continue being the crazy prepper and not the moderately prepared.

Showing up in Spain and Brazil... gonna spread like wildfire in both places.

Local news channels are starting with the doom and gloom reports about this spreading in the US. People will start running on the grocery stores if this keeps up.

Where are you coming up with this stuff? Who said anything about burning down the country?

The bottom picture shows someone laying in front of a service desk with their face directly on the floor (not on a pillow, not on their arm). I would try to make sure they were ok, but I'm weird I guess.

I have a month worth of food for our household, several weeks of water, extra toilet paper (based on Hong Kong's recent experience), extras medicine, and soap.

Hopefully we are good for a bit in case people panic and empty the grocery stores.

For most people having a few weeks worth of very basic food, medicine, toiletries and all that is gonna cost what $200 to $300 dollars? I guess I don't understand the objections. If nothing happens you take everything you bought to a food bank or homeless shelter in 3 months. What a terrible thing to have to do right...

Because I actually care about my coworkers and have been trying to inform and better prepare them for what's coming. I don't know where you work but we have a very close knit workgroup.

I'm not inviting them along if I have to bug out but it doesn't hurt to help inform people to be reasonably prepared.

Could and should are two very different things. It's cheaper just to send them home.
