Are you 100% certain that it's a bank default? To me, It looks more like a public meeting informing people of what's going on in the community. They look pretty chill if they are being told the bank is closed and they can't get their money.


IF It's a true bank default , this is a giant "oh **** moment" for the world.

One or two local banks out of cash in Wuhan, no big deal. It's a cash distribution problem.

If it's Multiple Chinese banks out of cash / defaulting = "Oh *****" This global economic system has less than three weeks at most before it completely collapses.

Globalization is great until you realize all of the banks are tied to one another.

The Fed and other central banks will shoot the moon with cash injections and the news will float rumors of cures and vaccines but economic realities rule. When banks stop giving people money, confidence is lost, currency looses value and economy implodes.

Not our issue so long as greenback is the global reserve currency. Plus, lets not forget, unless it was debunked the report was china was taking paper out of circulation.... banks wouldnt "default" due to recirculation of newly printed cash.

The entire lending and banking system has been built on a house of cards the past few years.

No one will lend cash to many of these companies so they issue iou's that aren't worth much to each other.

I can definitely see banks in China failing, but I think it's a bit too soon for that to happen, yet.

The Chinese banks aren't tied into the world system. They're all government run and not independent. As said above, it's all IOUs and a complete sham of propping up preferred companies.

3 days ago (the 18th) South Korea had 31 cases. Now 346 infections with over 300 more suspected from the mega church.

This seems very odd to me. Travis is a closed base. In addition, they have set up fences with guards to prevent the quarantine residents from mixing with the base. The Westwood Inn did release some people from earlier evacuation flights from Wuhan this week, and they are using temporary lodging facilities for the cruise people (I've actually stayed at both locations). The Westwood Inn is *tentatively* planning on opening back up to military travelers around 15 March (after everyone is gone and the hotel has had a 5 day special cleaning). That said, they have said that date is fluid, and depends of course on the situation. Travis is still maintaining regular operations.

It just seems odd that they would move people from Travis to this building in the middle of a town. Plus there were other military bases that have been flagged for quarantine that haven't been utilized yet.

All that said, maybe they are thinking if stuff hits the fan that they will need more locations?

Went back and looked at a few of Travis's press releases. Thought this was interesting.
This was FEB 6, so awhile ago.

UPDATE: To provide clarification on the below post - This is an additional, separate request for assistance outside the initial reception of evacuees to Travis AFB on Feb. 5, 2020. The additional passengers would be travelers through major airports, to include San Francisco International Airport. Travis AFB is the third option for lodging if HHS facilities are filled.

At the direction of the Secretary of Defense, the Department of Health and Human Services requested assistance from military installations near 11 major airports that could house additional passengers, should HHS facilities become filled.
Due to Travis Air Force Base's proximity to San Francisco International Airport, the installation met the criteria requested by HHS. Note, Travis AFB is a tertiary option, and HHS already has primary and secondary locations identified that are not DOD facilities. EDIT: This is an additional request for support, outside the current quarantined passengers received by Travis on Feb. 5, 2020.
Support from Team Travis will remain limited to lodging for up to 20 people in the Westwind Inn main lodging facility previously designated for the CDC-operated quarantine. HHS remains responsible for all care and transportation of evacuees with security assistance from federal law enforcement.
The current mission at Travis AFB will continue with no additional impact to our readiness or operations. As previously released, Travis Airmen will have no contact with any of the passengers quarantined at the installation.

^^^ This. I think they are looking for more quarantine sites vs. housing patients (because hospitals aren't over run, so it doesn't make sense to use this random building).

I wondering if the media is misusing the word "patients," which implies the people are sick, but what they're really referring to are people in quarantine, but are not sick at this time.

The exponential numbers I posted near the beginning of this thread are closer to the actual numbers than the propaganda you are being fed by governments. Note that they disembarked the passengers on the Japanese Cruise ship as the world watched the numbers of infected jump from 1 to 3, to 10, to 20, to 40, 60, 110, 200, 350, 600... Then the deaths started.... Now, we cant track how it all ends. That's because they are about to start raising the body count exponentially from those passengers and we could ascertain a mortality rate. That cant happen - the masses will panic once they see why China is locked down.

It is the RO value for infection, and all about the mortality rate among the infected. The RO value puts it at over 1 billion infected.

Over 1 billion people are infected, the vast majority dont even know it because they are asymptomatic and will be for another 2-3 weeks.

300,000 are dead.

Get your food and medicine stocked while you can.

Don't you think that South Korea will let us know whether this is deadly as people say it is? China can cover it up, but South Korea cannot.
