Is China Burning Bodies in Mass Cremation?

Wow, scary.

Didn't we see this last week and were told those calculations were bunk?

My wife just had something delivered from Shenzhen, Guangdong. I put some latex gloves on and put it in a ziploc bag, then ran water over the ziploc to remove any contamination that may have gotten on it while putting inside baggie.

Waiting until she gets home to see if it is important. It may sit for a few months before opening.

It has been brought up at least 3 times, and people with actual experience in the field of emissions have said it is crap given the numerous other causes for SO2 emissions and the regular high pollution levels in Wuhan.

All the DailyMail is doing is reporting on what people are various websites think about the article on Windy.com.

I'll be so glad when this crap is over.

Use 10% bleach solution...9 parts water to 1 part bleach (6% sodium hypochlorite or greater). It will kill viruses in less than 3 minutes.

1. Open it and put it wherever it goes. Then act like it was a second thought to clean it. Then clean it and put it back. Make sure she knows you handled it carelessly before cleaning it.

2. Wait 3 or 4 days.

3. Start complaining about aches and coughing. Dip thermometer in coffee to fake a fever.

Play the long con, man.

Buy some limes and enjoy that Corona with lime the right way

Soak it in gasoline for 5 min

Put inside bbq pit

^if I set my tin foil hat down, I'm thinking that could mean that the large amount of infected persons with minor symptoms aren't reported or included (especially given the harsh measures that China has taken)

Can any of the doctors explain what constitutes a serious and/or critical case? Understanding China may use different criteria. It seems strange to me that over 1000 cases could jump to severe in one day but maybe that's not a very high bar?

It was a single stack tester who has no experience with atmospheric dispersion modeling. I do and it's not really hard to do these calculations.

You can get SO2 numbers based upon satellite data due to how SO2 reflects sunlight.

You can also easily do the calculations of emissions from a stack of a cremation furnace.

A bunch of these running full out is going to significantly increase SO2 emissions due to the amount of sulfur each human has in their body. The EPA gives emission factors for SO2 emissions from burning a human body afterall since industrial furnaces like this have to have air permits.

Trend looks much better. Maybe locking down buildings is helping in Wuhan. If they die in the building, they don't get counted.

I'm skeptical of these numbers.

I think serious may have vitals unstable and not within normal limits. Critical is vitals unstable, not within normal limits, major complication likely to result in death, (May be unconscious I think) etc.
In China they send out a preliminary notice that translates as "(Expected) passing from illness" if you are critical stage to family and they do not expect you to survive.

While watching the video of the bodies being stacked in the van, you see the workers throw their gloves in the dumpster and then climb into the cab of the van. No decon at all so they are actually not protected at all and are just making it worse. Who knows what they're doing really. . .

That map of the ship will be very interesting to follow. How far it spreads? How many get into critical condition and how long to get there? How many of any pass away and how long does that take?

China is reporting a 5,000 person decrease in suspected cases overnight. I guess they can lift the quarantine by this weekend right? Doesn't seem to add up to me.

Can't test everyone that is locked away or dead. Or locked away and dead.

I wouldn't be surprised if they said "huh, haven't heard from these 5000 in a few weeks, must not have had coronavirus"
