That was debunked. The author of that paper withdrew their paper after fellow researchers pointed out there are numerous other virii that have some proteins in common with HIV. Those proteins are common in viruses that attack the immune system.

I don't believe this. Too many cases outside of China have recovered.

The only way this could possibly be feasible is if the bioweapon virus somehow was accidentally released (with symptoms as described above) and that the precursor Coronavirus (which was used to make the bioweapon) was intentionally released to "inoculate" as many people as possible before they could be infected by the bioweapon.

Too far fetched to be credible.

if it was a general bioweapon of that sort, like the bioprepparat historical flus, i really think more would have happened outside of china by now.

we KNOW that the information coming from all official channels in china, and some or maybe most from other sources, is blatantly false.

however, i dont really think at this point a bunch of serious cases or deaths outside of china could have been kept this quiet. so i am hoping it is actually not a huge nascent problem, that it stays quiet and is not a major threat to us.


i mean, we have ADMITTED 50k infected, 1k dead in china. We know for sure that is orders of magnitude off, you dont have half a billion in quarantine, welding condos shut, bricking in cities, taking seats out of vans to haul stacks of bodies, burning pits full of ..what, infected gear or worse, crematoriums going overtime, bootleg videos of all manner of horrors, etc., if those numbers are even remotely true.

so its apocalyptic in china.

given how china has maintained 'zombie apocalypse' level state action on this for months now, and are essentially willing to kill and starve millions and shut down their economy over this, i am starting to think there may really be something to all the rumors that this is a targeted asian killer virus, whether coincidence naturally or as a bio research organism.

based on everything i have seen, it is still quite likely that this did actually come from the lab, probably accidentally.

there are all kinds of reasons to believe so, from proximity and papers issued, to studies of the nature of the virus, to the odd deaths and prosecutions of people associated with coronavirus research and the wuhan lab, etc.

we also know that at least 3-4 million airline seats left china in Nov-Jan, so if this was going to infect non chinese as badly as it seems to be hitting china, it should have happened by now. Even if the airborne, asymptomatic, infectious period really is over 25 days, it should have started showing more by now.

so something is going on that we still dont know.
