They also mentioned in the video that they can cremate about 250 bodies a day when working 2 12-hr shifts.

No context, but I think we can make an educated guess what's going on in that van.

Those are rookie numbers get those numbers up. 50 mins per body. That's 28.8 bodies per furnace per day. With 11 furnaces that's 316.8 bodies per day.

Going on? What do you mean? It's got dead bodies in it.

Watching these videos of dead bodies being loaded into cars, trucks, vans, laying in bags in corridors, I'm just going to make a WAG that its killed more than 50,000.

Takers?

That is just as believable as the current numbers that we have of just over 1,000.

The phone call said the cars used to carry one DB, but then they took out seats and can fit 8.

How many? 6 to 8 piled in there.

It also said what was reported elsewhere that only a handful are confirmed pneumonia cases and many times that are listed as suspected. I used to think the suspected cases were alive and being monitored...not anymore...

In 5 years that would only be 578160 bodies. If they have millions die from this, they would need hundreds of crematoriums and it would take them 5 years to get them all. Even at 200 sites, they can get 2.1 million a year.

If their death rates are much higher than the reported, then it's no surprise we're hearing that the crematorium are overwhelmed and unable to keep up.

I think they thought they could disguise the individuals involved in the conversation. If this conversation is factual (NTD is a news organization), I fear for the reprisal against that funeral home worker.

Yeah, and I feel bad that they promised her more manpower. She is probably going to be "silenced".

Oh. I thought you meant something different. When you said "going on". You mean how many dead bodies are in the van?

Two per car with seats removed. Eight per van.

two furnaces don't work bro, so they are only operating 9.

so lower your total by 58. avg of 250 per day for 9 furnaces.

My fault no coffee.

IMO thats not the disposal crews first day on the job. They look experienced and nonchalant when handling the corpse (ie - they've done this before). How many runs to the morgue, how many days they've been on the job, is anyone's guess.

Of course we don't know if that was a suicide, heart attack, OD, or CV. But it appears 8 bodies stacked in a van didn't really phase them.

The WHO continues to bend over and take it for China.

"We had to find a name that did not refer to a geographical location, an animal, or an individual or group of people," WHO's director-general, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, said in a call with reporters.

Nothing geographically tied has been used before by the WHO like MERS (Middle East respiratory syndrome)

Who knows If that 'investigative reporter' call is real, but seems more plausible considering the size of the quarantine in China.

Around 9 mins it gets hilarious with the lady going off on the local officials

When they say crew they mean the ones that usually live bottom deck in dorm style rooms. Multiple bunks.

Why didn't they remove the people from the ship who seemed healthy and place them in a different quarantine?

And totally agree about how they are handling the bodies.
