We all know China is lying... it's what they do, however it is suspicious how they've reacted so far

All the money is flooding to US markets, and sinking their own economy, I'm sure they know how to stop it (whether they can or not is a different story). However I do think hygiene is a factor, and that their overpopulation plays into it.

However the world wouldn't isolate China for the "flu" same reason they wouldn't self impose / inflict on themselves, I'm in the camp this engineered but not sure how wide spread this will be in the states.

It's not the symptoms it's the mass infection all at once and lack of care to give that seems to be killing people, IMO

I last traveled there for work 3 years ago. Was in Shanghai. Couldn't use the water the brush your teeth, let alone drink. Saw multiple people relieving themselves in the open on sidewalk around The Bund. Shanghai is incredible to look at but, the basics of hygiene, for the average citizen, are not there.

I think the issue is everyone agrees with this, but we have two polar opposite discussions going on. The question is which of these is most realistic?

I feel like we have hardly any truly reliable data, yet both sides are making claims based on that data. I feel like we almost literally know nothing as rock solid.

We're all trying to read the room, but we're reading a book that is backwards, upside down, and written from back to front. I agree with people who say things are worse than reported in China.

I guess, at the end of the day, I'm keeping my eyes out more on the western countries than China.
