I spent 2 years buying and merging and setting up logistics companies over there. Many were soe. We spent over 150 mil over there doing that. I ate ****ing dinner in the ccp headquarters in shangai. I spent weeks in the jinjiang headquarters. I ate their ****ty food. I spent weeks in ****holes. Spent weeks in the la meridian and ritz. I had their execs living at my place in between trips.

So shove your moronic insults up your ass.

I dont worry about anything. When my time comes i'll croak. But im also paying attention and sharing info from people a hell of a lot smarter and moe experienced on the topic than you. If you are 100% sure you dont want to know any info, wtf are you on this thread for? Just to be an *******?

In 2 weeks the pandemic will be self-evident.

Question is: is that too late to get what you need to shield your family?

Buying food the week before a hurricane makes landfall in your area is easy. Doing it the day before landfall is very difficult. The day of landfall impossible.

To each their own. 2 weeks. Tic-toc.

From the BNO Newsroom twitter link.

Potentially good news is rate of increase of confirmed cases is decreasing. Now just 19% and hasn't been above 22% in 5 days. Need that trend to continue. Based on the efforts to contain hopefully it slows way down.

It could also be that they have stopped counting or the healthcare workers just can't get to everyone. Yes, a lock down can be effective but how long and at what cost?

Y'all are missing the big picture.....it's the economy that is going to suffer the most.

Ever walk around a Home Depot or Lowe's and calculate what percent of the products on the shelves are from China? What about Wal-Mart or Target? Bed Bath and Beyond, Best Buy, Apple Store, etc? How does Tesla, BMW, VW sell cars that aren't built or missing critical components and electronics? How much revenue are airlines going to miss out on for the routes to and from China? How about the banks around the world that have Chinese Yuan as assets? What about all of the derivative contracts between banks based on "sure fire" China GDP over 5% Those are just some of the big boys off the top of my head, what about all of the retail stores across America that rely on cheap Chinese goods? As a commercial retail landlord, do you feel confident about all those triple net leases?

This is like pouring sand into a car transmission....it may run for a little bit but ultimately it locks up.

Ultimately, I think the it's going to be more deaths than SARS. Likely in the 1500-2000 range. With less than 50 coming from other countries and of the other countries it will mostly, if not all, be in other Asian countries. I believe we're at the point where we're getting close to a peak. Wuhan quarantine went into effect on the 23rd (I think). We have heard of a maximum incubation of ~14 days. We're at 12 days now on the quarantine and the makeshift hospitals opened up on Friday I believe with 1400 medical staff moved into the region by the CCP.

Again, to me this all goes back to the hygiene, population density, living conditions, and bio-security. The Chinese suck at all of those, but they know how to snub **** out when it pops up. Even if we never see true numbers. If it had to happen to a country, I'm glad it's a communist one

Don't underestimate the power of media on stupid people.....
This can run until the end of the month with media propaganda but it could also crack up at a moment's notice.

IMO you've got to look for signs other than Dow prices and the number of cases. I believe i saw one today. Waiting for confirmation until I say something..... Hint: the political theater is ending at opportune moment.

IMO, we have 7 days or less before the SHTF.

2000? Apparently math was not your strength. Over 2,000 now in China alone.

Already peaked? Neither was logic. Peak will occur in China no earlier than April. The rest of the world much later.

Please take the time to look at the comparison graphs of SARS to nCoV and convince me that there won't be many times more deaths from nCoV.......https://ncov.r6.no/

At day 24 of outbreak SARS had 119 deaths versus 426 deaths from nCoV.

Awesome. You are counting on accuracy and truth in reporting from a communist dictatorship which locked down the entire country for a completely novel virus which people have no immunity. Glad to know you've got this under control. I feel so much better.

You are doing a great job of misinforming people.

I last traveled there for work 3 years ago. Was in Shanghai. Couldn't use the water the brush your teeth, let alone drink. Saw multiple people relieving themselves in the open on sidewalk around The Bund. Shanghai is incredible to look at but, the basics of hygiene, for the average citizen, are not there.

Dr. Tom Price, Former HHS Secretary;

"China, however, is China. If the past is prologue, there is little confidence that China is sharing all the needed information, especially the number of cases and deaths. There are anecdotal reports that there are thousands of deaths in China that have yet to be reported to the international health community. Bugs are smart and have no respect for international or geographical boundaries. This is precisely why complete candor and sharing of information is vital to an appropriate response and conclusion of this epidemic. "

China is suppressing the number of cases and the number of deaths.

In a previous post you had the number of cases doubling daily to reach 250 million in a couple weeks. That doesn't seem consistent with prediction of a peak in April.
