What if the overreaction is due to the rumors this was engineered in some fashion? It wasn't a finished "bioweapon" but this overreaction is to save its international reputation.

There would be some major blowback if this spreads meaningfully outside of China. International sanctions, loss of trade partners, and would make the centralized administration look incompetent. Right now the Communist party, with the right spin, can say "this was all the **** up of local officials, but look once Beijing got involved, we contained it."

It explains the overreach without this being a catastrophic plague.

She seriously has a few screws loose and her advisors do nothing to persuade her to come across as somewhat likeable or sane. Maybe because I am conservative I absolutely can't see how anyone could vote for this idiot.

So her solution are Quarantines like China? Because besides stopping travel to and from China and quarantining travelers what can Trump really do? And China has refused the CDC's help. Socialized medicine? Let's look at China's healthcare system. I'm not saying ours is perfect, but just their standard is so much lower than ours.

She would kill half of America in her first two years if she implemented her BSC ideas. She doesn't understand economics or how the world actually works. She lives in an elitist bubble and makes stupid attempts to connect with the common man. She is an example of what is wrong with politicans in DC today.

Say what you will about Trump, he's a billionaire but somehow he can relate to everyday Americans and not come across as fake.

Oh and she has no room to talk since instead of legislating her party has stopped everything in DC to impeach Trump. How much crap gets missed and overlooked while they are parading their pitty party about how evil Trump is while they are stuck in this sham trial? And the House hasn't done **** for months now due to impeachment.

So yeah it's really Trump's fault there is an epidemic in China that they failed to tell anyone about for a few weeks.

Furthermore, they released the RNA sequence, quite quickly, like a CYA letter in my opinion.

I would like to see the RNA sequence from a confirmed death be mapped, not one released from "Ministry of Health in China."

This virus is going to hit the US big cities hard. I know most people are thinking this is just an "over there" problem but rest assured it is spreading. The next 1-2 weeks we are going to see the numbers expand rapidly. It's a math equation now. 1 infects 3, 3 infect 9, 9 infects 27 etc.

The homeless and the poor are going to suffer the most. Weakened immune systems, poor nutrition, dense populations, and unsanitary living conditions are a recipe for disaster.

Her rhetoric will play into people's fear and may give her a little bump going into the primaries....

The smoke supporting the "engineered" theory is compelling.

Outbreak ground 0 is close to Level 4 Bio Lab, there was an accidental release of some sort, and the virus does end up and spread through that wet market. Lab quickly realizes their was an exposure (either the first couple cases, or protocol was breached). Chinese officials, wanting to know what the **** they just let loose, contacts the Gates Foundation to run some simulations ~3 weeks ago. Initial under-reaction was possibly due to the incubation period (hey maybe we got lucky and this virus fizzled or isn't very contagious). Then once exponential growth showed, the feds stepped in and shut things down QUICK.

Any lying about everything instead of taking action in the communist "all is well"tradition.

If this is true, when will we start to see it materialize?

In my part of the western world we call that a slight overreaction.....BUT if I was locked in a city with 11 million other people with no sign of it letting up I may do the same thing. Who knows what good or evil we are all capable of during a crisis?

So do they have a stockpile of door bars at all times ready to go?

It is a sign of panic by people that see what is happening in their community. Rumors get spread quickly.

The mere fact that the Chinese are reporting that more people have died than have recovered is not helping matters at all.

Unless some cultures dont require food, water, or anything else outside their door, then no, i would say that is universally a pretty bad sign.

Ps - i think near 50 % of urban apartments and most rural living does not have a private toilet inside.

So they tried to avoid panic and didnt know for sure how bad it was, preferred to whistle by the graveyard and hope to get lucky, and now they know they ****ed up. I cant interpret that any other way.

The other thing with the apartment building... ventilation. Depending on their HVAC setup, they could all be getting contaminated air anyway.
