US has 2,335 confirmed cases today. 50 deaths.
What do you think it hits by the end of the month?

C@LAg said:the 50 deaths are an extreme outlier. We had a literal captive population of extreme/elderly/sick that it ran rampant through in a short period of time. If this had not happened in a nursing home our number might not even be 15 nationwide.AgsMyDude said:C@LAg said:I guarantee you it will be pretty much the exact same as today. EVERYWHERE.cone said:

Less than 1000. Pretty sure 21 or 22 of the 50 is from the same nursing home in Washington.

The electricity will still be on. Water will still come out of the pipes. Food will still be hitting shelves.
Yes, people will worry about their jobs, their rent/mortgages/utilities.
The VAST majority of existing cases are proving to be mild without requiring a significant increase in medical attention. And that will be the case even in larger metro areas.
WE (Seattle) are two weeks ahead of the erst of the country, with the highest number of deaths and the highest number of infected, and our hospitals are not collapsing. The majority of people are able to deal with it at home.
Even with the spike in numbers nationwide, the vast majority of communities are not going to have a spike in this int eh next two weeks. And none are going to be going full mad Max.
