Am I reading the data correctly though that the mortality rate among closed cases is 7%? Seems mortality rate on closed cases would be more accurate than measuring all open and closed. I could be wrong.

Fluctuates based on the denominator used. There isn't enough numbers to estimate a reliable denominator for the population(s). So, it looks bad but don't really know.

That may be right for closed cases, but from what I understand people who are infected are so often asymptomatic they really don't know the true mortality rate.

That's not a representative quote of the article. Dude was running a 103 fever and receiving IV fluids and constant medical care. He said they're managing his temp below 100 with ibuprofen. That's not a "I would just go back to work" kind of thing.

But that's in line with other reports of symptoms. Dry cough, fever and fatigue. No runny nose.

There was a case review study in JAMA. What you'd expect - risk increases with age, jumps significantly over 65. Kids don't seem to be at risk.

I think his point is overreaction, which is largely driven by the hysteria created by the media. In the grand scheme of things, the coronavirus isn't that bad. The common flu that millions refuse to get a free shot for each hear is far worse in the US than the coronavirus is globally.

You'll need some Remedy to mix with that. Killing coronavirus is just like killing mesquite.

My go-tos are scotch, gin and vodka. Scotch is the most expensive, so I can't go case level there and expect to make through the apocalypse event fully hammered. So that leaves gin and vodka. Both are relatively cheap, so I could go a few cases of both. Most of that will be consumed because.... you know... end of world. But you're right, maybe a few more just in case we make it out the other end and need some bartering ***** So I guess I'll be taking my trailer.
