I saw one really fat guy on the republican side, he had to pull on the seat in front of him and take a couple of little hops before he could stand up for each ovation. The rest looked to be in good shape.

Writing a book was just an example of how being the President could be personally beneficial. Every President has the right to do that once they leave office. While in office though, the President is not permitted to use the power of his office with the intention of benefiting themselves personally.

The emails are real. Released under FOIA.

Read the source material for yourself if you don't trust commentary. The White House was lying to the DOD, GAO, and congress, and they continue to release absurdly redacted documents in a stalling strategy.
