Bring on the depositions!!

I've been wondering how long these guys were going to stay silent. One of the following happened here:

1. They are complete idiots and didn't know what options were available to them to clear their name after Jussie's friends in high places pulled the rug out from under them.
2. (not necessarily mutually exclusive from option #1 above) They got a check to shut up forever.
3. Someone informed them that the aforementioned check wasn't big enough, so they opened up the Stormy Daniels playbook and are seeing what they can get.

Prediction: it's #3 and they'll get a bigger check and then disappear forever.

Or whatever the Chicago version of "Arkancide" is.....

Meanwhile, Kim Foxx is still losing staff.

While I understand the sentiment the show wasn't that great. The best part for me the few episodes I saw the first season were the costume design. The writing was crap, the acting was okay, the music okay and Jussie basically played himself so he wasn't actually acting. If the show sucks you can't blame Smollett; his going nutty and staging a hate crime seems par for the course for the show.

More likely it's already under contract. This means it is cancelled and they're only going to go forward with what is already on paper.
