Funny that the oversized storm water inlet is above the elevation of the curb. It's like a registered civil engineer assumed this would be the case...

She would have a conniption if she ever saw the streets in West Texas after a thunderstorm. There isn't a drainage system under the streets, so the streets drain rain water into playa lakes. The water comes over the curb nearly every time it rains and has been since they paved the roads.

ETA - I once saw two yahoos riding a jon boat down Avenue W just north of 50th St towards Clapp park (playa lake) after a Lubbock thundershower. They appeared to be intoxicated but did seem to be enjoying the ride

I had to look up Bose too, but in two days, both she and her Chief of Staff quoted and compare themselves to actual Nazi sympathizer's.
