Well for one...urban growth in places like Houston has been significant and with all the additional concrete there are fewer places for the water to naturally drain. In my neighborhood alone (Oak Forest)...i notice a difference in water collection since 2013 and it has nothing to do with climate change. It has to do with all of the post WWII 900-1,500 SF homes being replaced by 4,000-5,000 McMansions.

This is how child-like I am afraid her thinking is. She wants "good jobs for everyone". Yet when Amazon is slated to bring in a sh*t-ton of jobs she kills (or applauds the killing) of the deal.

Why?

She has already stated jobs should be made available. Available jobs were coming.

Yet...

I can't help but wonder if, to her, there should be "jobs".....but they should not have to be connected to any sort of demands of the market or the economy. In other words, everyone should be paid like they are working for a successful going concern....even if they are just, say, a bartender in the Bronx.

With all the new construction required to build these new facilities I've got to think that the mafia and especially the Unions can't be happy about this. I remember saying that if she keeps this up she's going to piss off the wrong people, and I was thinking about other dems in the house and Senate. Never did I consider she'd piss off these types of people.

It sounds like they just gave him a staff email address so he can check on her calendar. Technically, House members can only do that with relatives.

It's a very valid question to ask. Assuming her side of the story is true (given access only to calendar), it's probably not something to get too worked up over. She's got plenty of bat**** crazy ideas more worthy of embarrassment.
