She's "riding train", to use one of her terms, on the liberal human centipede. Pretty sure she's the caboose.
Staff - take out the trash.

I haven't kept up with this thread because AOC is an idiot, and I have little patience for idiots, but I just wanted to point out the irony of... based purely on the thread title, this should have been the shortest thread ever, but instead we're over 1300 posts....
Staff please change the title to "Non-stop continuation of AOC idiocy".
K thx bai
You didn't defeat anything, moron, you've only removed yourself from benefiting from it. New Yorkers will continue to buy their stuff from Amazon.Quote:
Anything is possible: today was the day a group of dedicated, everyday New Yorkers & their neighbors defeated Amazon's corporate greed, its worker exploitation, and the power of the richest man in the world.

Typical.
Well for one...urban growth in places like Houston has been significant and with all the additional concrete there are fewer places for the water to naturally drain. In my neighborhood alone (Oak Forest)...i notice a difference in water collection since 2013 and it has nothing to do with climate change. It has to do with all of the post WWII 900-1,500 SF homes being replaced by 4,000-5,000 McMansions.Prognightmare said:

She is an idiot, but she has followers. We better pay attention. She is fighting a war, and many sheeple will follow her. Smh.

I would literally be absolutely sick if I lived in her district. How can a representative be so shortsighted. Amazon would have created a prosperous economic cascade for surrounding businesses and residents alike. And this idiot child makes it about a billionaire boogeyman. Seriously sad.
This is actually a really good point.agent-maroon said:

With all the new construction required to build these new facilities I've got to think that the mafia and especially the Unions can't be happy about this. I remember saying that if she keeps this up she's going to piss off the wrong people, and I was thinking about other dems in the house and Senate. Never did I consider she'd piss off these types of people.

Hhmm. Did she put her boyfriend on staff or not?
Here's an open thread discussing it.
It sounds like they just gave him a staff email address so he can check on her calendar. Technically, House members can only do that with relatives.aggiehawg said:

Meh, all the BS the left dings Trump with, I am fine dinging the left with any and everything, no matter how trivial. We shouldn't make things up like they do, though.themissinglink said:It sounds like they just gave him a staff email address so he can check on her calendar. It's a very valid question to ask. Assuming her side of the story is true (given access only to calendar), it's probably not something to get too worked up over. She's got plenty of bat**** crazy ideas more worthy of embarrassment.

Just so nobody thinks her boyfriend is anything other than the pasty white green eyed ginger that he is. Not that there's anything wrong with that other than the obvious hypocrisy of politics...
