Seems things aren't going too badly for her either. If you read the rest of the article I linked, she also owns a fully paid for home in her district. Just monthly fees and taxes for debt burden. She's not exactly the working-class heroine as she presents herself to be. That's just an observation.
Up to you to determine is that hypocritical or worse.

Foreign buyers have made coastal and urban real estate sky rocket. Honestly, a ban on foreign ownership of residential property would make things a lot cheaper. Of course, there would be less gain for Americans who own residential property in these markets.
