The ex-boyfriend of the woman who accused Brett Kavanaugh of drugging girls in order to gang rape them at high school parties claims she is 'not credible' at all.
Richard Vinneccy said that he does not believe Julie Swetnick, who said she was assaulted at one such party attended by Kavanaugh, is telling the truth at all.
'I have a lot of facts, evidence, that what she's saying is not true at all,' Vinneccy told Politico on Wednesday.
But Vinneccy refused to disclose any such evidence, instead saying he 'would rather' speak to his attorney first before saying more.
Instead Vinneccy, 63, disclosed details about his own relationship with Swetnick, who he filed a restraining order against after they broke up in 2001.
Quote:
Vinneccy filed a restraining order against Swetnick at the Miami-Dade County Court in 2001. The case was dismissed just 13 days later after an affidavit of non-ability to advance fees was filed.
'Right after I broke up with her, she was threatening my family, threatening my wife, and threatening to do harm to my baby at that time,' the registered Democrat claimed.
'I know a lot about her. She's not credible at all. Not at all.'
Michael Avenatti, Swetnick's attorney, has hit back at Vinneccy's claims and called them 'complete nonsense'.
Avenatti said he knew nothing of a restraining order and claims Swetnick caught Vinneccy using her own resume to apply and obtain jobs for himself.
'Complete nonsense. No truth to this at all,' Avenatti said. 'Why are you all attacking a sexual assault victim?'
Vinneccy's claims come hours after Swetnick's father said he was shocked by her allegations against the Supreme Court nominee.
Swetnick, 55, was the third woman to come forward to accuse Kavanaugh of sexual assault.
She stepped forward on Wednesday to claim in the early 1980s that she witnessed Kavanaugh and his high school classmate Mark Judge drug and sexually assault girls during high school parties.
Swetnick wrote in an affidavit that she met Kavanaugh and Judge at a party in 1980 or 1981. Swetnick, who graduated from Gaithersburg High School in 1980, was three years older than the boys at the time.
She also attended a public high school, while the two boys attended the elite Washington prep school Georgetown Prep.
Quote:
Swetnick's parents Martin and her late mother Elaine were both government workers.
Her father worked for NASA as a lunar scientist and her mother Elaine was a geologist with the Atomic Energy Commission.
Martin told the Washington Post that he was shocked at the allegations, but had been almost entirely estranged from his daughter for 10 years.
He said she was a 'typical girl', and added: 'She was not shy. She was a good-looking girl.'
But he said he had little insight into her high school years as he had been traveling a lot and added: 'She lived her life. We didn't discuss it.'
She had failed to complete college and later became a web developer, gaining government contracts.

Who would have guessed it would be Lindsey Graham to actually grow a set. We truly live in interesting times.johnnyblaze36 said:
My miraculous 180 on Lindsey Graham continues. He just obliterated all of the allegations one by one and all of the disgusting tactics by his Dem colleagues on set with Shannon Bream.
Ended the conversation with "To my Republican colleagues-if we abandon Judge Kavanaugh I hope people abandon us because we would deserve it".

So this explains how she had so many different jobs with so many different government agencies.
She was never an actual employee, but rather a contractor likely doing project or short term work.
I guess he doesn't feel the need to please John McCain any longer.Sid said:Who would have guessed it would be Lindsey Graham to actually grow a set. We truly live in interesting time.johnnyblaze36 said:

careful I got a temporary ban for offering a form of "farewell" to McCain (perhaps derogatory in gif form).

It's my understand that the full Senate can vote on it regardless of what the committee does.Rockdoc said:

The Democrats can't stop the vote on their own, there is no filibuster for judicial nominees anymore.Rockdoc said:

I'll be front and center for Trump's press conference if they do this. He'll dick whip them like you've never seen before.Squadron7 said:Rockdoc said:

I can see this group chaining themselves to the Senate chamber doors like a pack of smelly hippies.
