I am a 35 year old female with a graduate degree who has leaned moderate in the past. In my 17 years of voting eligibility I have never voted in a mid-term election. I guarantee you I will be voting this year...Republican I might add (MSM would probably assume Democrat with my demographics). This was the final straw!!!
I was amazed today.....
went to lunch with a longtime Lib friend of mine. good guy, ex Air Force, but a bleeding heart lib who literally admitted to suffering from white guilt post 2016 election.
I brought up Kavanaugh in an indirect way (accidentally almost)...and was then bracing for the inevitable smear job......
what i got was him saying it was all a bunch of BS, he saw zero reason Kavanaugh should not be confirmed easily, he thought it was an obvious political tactic and he actually said it made him angry as it will make it harder for real victims and any candidates in the future for SC. He also said he told his wife it was all a lie - she's a bigger Lib than him - and she was shocked but agreed when he said it was hurting real victims.
My jaw was just about on the floor. But that was all him I was not leading in any way (except to correct him that the ***** in the face was the second accuser not the first).
I think this thing has turned and backfired on them in a big way.

If the hearing on Thursday does forward (still think it's not going to happen), the Dems on the committee are going to make themselves look foolish. They are going hardline on kavanaugh under the presumption of guilt. Not only will that look bad, but when you match Kavanaugh's intellect against the simpletons on the committee, it will backfire. They should honestly not let Hirono speak. She is easily the dumbest senator and is right on par with Maxine, which is saying something for a senator who should be several levels above.

The article may be BS, but it is correct in that Ford has written several scientific papers concerning their drugs and psychological reactions. She uses CM Blasey in the attributions.

My girlfriend and I are both more moderate than the average person here and have been pretty unmotivated to engage politically since neither of us really care much for Trump nor the crazy left. These allegations against Kavanaugh and the outright attempt to destroy him and his family has pissed us both off so much, we are both fired up about voting straight ticket Republican this fall. If you read the chain of letters sent to Grassley by Ford and her Attorney recently it is pretty obvious that this whole thing is a scheme to delay, delay, delay. Ford was never going to testify because she made this story up. Even the three RINO Stooges, Collins, Flake and Little Bobby Corker must see this !!
