The problem is he has to go back to the DC circuit. He can't do that with these allegations. He has to clear is name.

And yes, he should sue the hell outta everyone, but that won't happen, even if he were to not be confirmed.

It's the fact that it is optically clear to everyone that it is a hit job that makes it mean that grassley is probably on the phone with the fence sitters saying "come on."

There's no question that a sizeable portion of the R senate is simply there to occupy the seat and wants zero responsibility. They want the title, not the job.

They may actually have some provable on Kavanaugh. Something silly and inconsequential. A picture of him from his college days with his hand on some chicks tit or video of him drunk and saying something obnoxious. By itself it would not mean anything and could not possibly derail the confirmation. However, after a few weeks of 2, 3, or 4 sexual assault accusations, all BS and not provable, they left then drops what they have and its the nail in the coffin.

The past few days and coming week could possibly be nothing more than the buildup to the big reveal.

Isn't this like the dossier? Ford is saying that Judge and Kavanaugh tried to rape her. SO now they are gang raping because Ford said they were both in the room. Circular logic.

I was just thinking about Murrow and McCarthy.

Nearly everyone in the country was afraid of McCarthy (I suspect he was correct on 70% of the people). Edward Murrow finally stopped the monster tactics McCarthy was using with the pen. Well, he himself didn't stop him, but it was the beginning of the end.

My point is that it's going to take someone, I don't care who, to say this is outrageous, pathetic, etc. It can be done, but it's got to be the best PR firm in the world, because it's needed badly.

I doubt it. Kavanaugh keeps chomping at the bit to testify. He's confident about his past...he understands the consequences of testifying under oath...and so do his accusers, which is why they will never testify.

Vote tomorrow. Ends this madness, you cowards.

Grassley needs to come out with a statement tonight. I mean right now. Show some backbone. If not, I hope trump unloads on everybody.

I hope you're correct. In looking at my own past I'm confident you'd be hard pressed to find anything horribly untoward. However, I've been to more than my fair share of wild parties over the years and have most definitely made a few non-pc statements. And in once instance in HS me and some buds might have flashed some cheerleaders after a football game. In todays SJW/Metoo environment though it would be quite easy to morph those events into a picture that made me look like a horrific predator type.
