As good as accounting for his time during the summer sounds, its not really any good against a non-specific time, is it? The way to employ the calendar is to have her point to a date and for him to rebut that he has an alibi assuming he was out of town. Which is the whole point of the accused going 2nd instead of 1st, I might add.
It's precisely why she gave such a wide range of possible dates in the first place....ranging for an entire year...to make it difficult, if not impossible for him to defend. No reasonable person would find her claim credible without a narrow and specific time frame.
I don't believe I would have leaked that I had calendars. That's just me.
