Disgusting to see Peter Strzok being given credibility and a platform to accuse others of trying to overturn an election.

I thought Special counsel was not under the thumb of the AG so he could put together a far reaching investigation unfettered by partisan politics???
LOL like laws matter to those in charge in D.C. today.

IF this is true, which it likely is, then I suspect Durham is attempting to use the outstanding allegations in this trial against Garland's outrageous and likely criminal conduct.

If Durham can get enough political capital (see pressure) on Garland, Garland may consider backing off of the line he's apparently drawn. I wish Durham had the conversation taped, but that would be illegal in DC, since Garland didn't know it was being taped, and I suspect Durham still doesn't believe Garland (and the entire 7th floor) are criminals.

BTW, if Durham DID suspect Garland of criminal behavior, could he indict Garland? I don't think he will, but could he?

Very highly unlikely absent direct obstruction in a big way. The way Special Counsels wok now, they have a defined scope of investigation, set by the AG appointing them.

After the mid-terms, the J6 committee should be blown up. The house should immediately move to impeach Garland. Once that PoS is out of the way they need to start the real investigations into Pelosi, the J6 committee, the FBI Raid, Hunter, Faucci, and yes, the big guy.

It all has to start with getting Garland the **** away from DC immediately. We dodge a major bullet by not having him with a lifetime appointment to the SC.

How do you expect to get 2/3rds of the Senate to remove Garland?

There is no way Garland is removed from the AG position.

You're right. It will be difficult to convince Dem party senators to agree that being a hateful little Marxist and using the power of the US AG's office to go after the regime's political opponents, including the likely next R nominee for POTUS, some unarmed trespassers from a mostly peaceful demonstration, and parents at school board meetings, is a bad thing. Dems, their pravda media arm, and a whole lot of sheeple actually believe the propaganda and lies that everyone that doesn't agree with them is a fascist. Garland has done no wrong to them.

Oh, no way they remove him, but knee-capping him would be my target. Meaning, put him in a public hearing, show evidence of the politicization of the Justice Department. Shine a light on everything they have done over the last two years.

My thought is if he is having to answer for things under oath it will impede his ability to expand the corruption. I fully expect the swamp to run cover and the media to go if full spin/protect mode, but it is time to go on the attack. And by attack, I mean multiple fronts., flip the playbook.

B.S. post about Hawg above. Hopefully it gets taken down.

Hawg is The Woman around here. She does the work that I have neither the time nor the attention span nor the legal acumen to do. To insult her because a jury didn't make what I would consider to be a slam dunk conviction is absolutely wrong.

It is indeed frustrating. I get it. There appear to be two separate systems of justice in the world - one for conservatives and one for liberals. One need go no further than to look at the sharp contrast between those who ransacked our nation during the summer of 2020 versus the treatment of those who were peacefully protesting (not the idiots who destroyed public property, they should be prosecuted) on January 6th.

I think we need to consider the Judges Instructions as well...

If he said to the jury, "unless the gloves fit, you must acquit" (humor) or, "If the witness testimony included the words, 'yes, he lied', then you can find him guilty.

Most of the testimony I saw implicated FBI desire to keep him around as an informant, even paying him. The surprising thing is as an operative, the FBI kept him around. If the shoe were on the other foot...

But, what I did read is that Durham established a few other bases for pursuing other targets...I am not sure he is "done". If he has indicated other targets to Garland, we may see additional action. And if any of those targets cross the thin red line, Garland may shut him down...

Just so I am clear.

  • The RNC was the first to funnel money into this
  • Then the DNC paid the remainder
  • The FBI offered to pay up to $1MM for provable evidence
  • It is 100% fabricated
  • The RNC knew it, the DNC knew it, the FBI knew it, congress knew it
  • It was used to manipulate the FISA court
  • It was used as the basis of a special counsel investigation
  • It was used as fodder for impeachment

and nobody is responsible of doing anything wrong? Got it.

I understand. The legal standard was almost impossibly high in the Sussman trial, but there can be no doubt from any rationally thinking person that Sussman was falsely presenting himself as nothing more than a concerned citizen when he contacted the FBI. Should Durham go no further, I would imagine the only thing that will happen is that he will write up his report, Merrick Garland will either heavily redact it or not allow it to be released to the public at all, Hawg will summarize the report and dumb it down for us, and a few people on TexAgs F16 will understand how the Clinton campaign conspired, with the aid of the FBI, to take down a duly elected President. The media will largely ignore it. Lather. Rinse. Repeat.
