This is becoming virtually impossible to keep up with. My head is spinning from it all and I'm starting to feel like Russell Crowe / John Nash from "A Beautiful Mind"...

If you see a lot of thumbs up, and smiling just know it is going in the right direction.

Wait, so Russian intelligence picked up that US entities were running this disinformation and then that was picked up by US intelligence and then buried? Is that what I read?

Important thread detailing beginnings of Russia Russia Russia with up to date information. Read this if everything has been a blur recently.

Actually, everyone should probably read this. Good refresher.

Also, don't forget. Durham's "report" will be his indictments. And this Sussman trial is filling in a LOT of holes and giving us a lot of new information.

Yes.

This isn't really new. Brennan briefed Obama in July of 2016 that US intelligence learned that Russian intelligence knew of Hillary's plan to promote the Trump-Russia collusion lie. Brennan's memo on the meeting was declassified and released a while ago.

Read the thread I just posted above. It mentions this as well.

These are textbook Hatch Act violations. And a conspiracy to commit them.

Excellent thread thank you for posting. Here it is unrolled:

It is absolutely clear this was a massive, coordinated effort to derail Donald Trump's election. It dwarfs Watergate.

As I recall, up until now, it had been characterized in the media as "Brennan briefed Obama about Russian efforts to tamper with the 2016 election", which completely leaves out that it wasn't the Russians doing the tampering, it was GCF doing it and the Russians intercepted the plans.

Doesn't Hillary posting this tweet prove that she was an active co-conspirator if it is otherwise proven that she knew the Russia allegation was false?

Yes. She absolutely was. And she will never be directly touched. She will never even admit that she was lying the whole time.

Seems like that would be an easy case to make if you had the right emails to and from her campaign group...which may have been included in classified intercepts of Russian comms if the Russians had GCF's server hacked. That would be an easy avenue by which Durham may already know what is in those emails if they were given to him as part of a dump of intercepted Russian comms.

Did Durham ask for all of the different means that our government has tried to "hide" from FOIA requests (ex: Corney)?

I know that is one of those "conspiracy theories" but has then been proven somewhat true…

Beyond sad if that is the reality...BUT, I suspect she will NEVER regain the collective status she once held. Her base has noticeably shrunk and I doubt she could attract sufficient elitist $$ to proclaim "I coulda ben ah contenda!"

IMHO...she's become a marginal footnote...and rightly so. She and Bill deserve one another.

ETA - "touched"...who in their right mind would want to touch that????

Trial Query for Aggiehawg, Sicand or other legal expert: What does jury pool political demographics look like where the case is being tried? I thought one of the huge benefits of a conspiracy indictment was the SC could try the case in any place where an act of the conspiracy took place? Was false statement easier to get conviction in DC and then move conspiracy trial elsewhere? Also, why the belief Hillary is untouchable? Thanks.

It will be tried in the DC circuit. IANAL, but I believe it has to be tried in the circuit where the alleged crime took place.

Lots of lefties in the DC circuit for the jury.

Hey folks, here's a fun fact. Deripaska's lawyer, Adam Waldman, who was involved with Senator Mark Warner trying to get dirt from Deripaska on Trump/Manafort is Johnny Depp's attorney, although I don't think he's trying this case.

Have her produce the intern. Accuse the intern of conspiracy. Turn the intern to testify against Hillary. Back to putting Hillary on the hot seat with an additional charge of attempting to defraud the government.

Well, per the Democrats themselves, if this false Russia setup was a ploy to prevent or overthrow the Trump administration, none of the participants is eligible for any federal office they may currently hold.

One change, wasn't it Susan Rice to Comey for the "everything by the book" comment?
