If Trump wins re-election does that change the trajectory of Barr and Durham's investigation?

I think they are up against time in getting this work done. There is still too much not known or not tied up and that is a problem. The resistance is still at work. The resistance is on the clock too, that being the replacement of Trump. One side will be successful and either the investigation can continue or the investigation is shut down.

I do think Barr wants to get to the bottom of things and does want truth and justice. He knows how important this is to the country and to the proper workings of the system of our country.

I may just be naive. This has been on my mind.

I believe in Barr. I wonder if the clock (time) is just too much to overcome verses the hurdles still in place and at work denying Barr a complete path to a solid successful indictment of the crimes.

More time would change the outlook considerably. Wray could be removed. The resistance could be crushed.

I'd love to see FBI Director Powell go in and fix that place in Trump's second term.

No facts or inside knowledge...but, don't think "Management/Supervisory" role would be her "cup-o-tea".

No one knows. Same answer for indictments within the 60-day DOJ pre-election 'guideline' ... which Barr has hinted doesn't apply. That said, next week is Barr's last opportunity to avoid the 60-day "time-out" hubbub. (FWIW, Comey certainly didn't have a problem violating the 60-day 'time-out" guideline in 2016)

Could be, but taking a machete to their corruption is in her wheelhouse.

Based on what's been shared in this thread, none of the targets are politicians so even if the supposed 60 day rule exists, it wouldn't be applicable.

Send in Grenell. The speed at which they replaced him from his previous role tells me all I need to know. He exposes what he can and makes the swamp pucker.

No doubt he would do well. I think Powell has a head start on where to look. I don't imagine either could get confirmed. Too many RINOs don't was to be exposed.

I am still waiting on the list of names who had to make a withdrawal from the congressional "hush" fund. Too bad Grenell could not release that!

Not trying to derail this thread...but would like to know current status/forecast of Flynn/Sullivan's en banc case. The qualified "litigators" on-board are more than welcome to comment as to how this will likely end.

ETA - TIA. Much appreciated!

Absolutely, THIS. Grenell doesn't just pull the curtains back, he pulls the weeds out by the roots.

I think Sidney said likely Monday due to a judge preparing to leave the court.

I'm certainly not an expert, but I think if they weren't all in on dragging this out as long as possible Flynn would have been cleared and charges dismissed months ago.
Good Day.

https://theintercept.com/2020/08/26/cia-national-intelligence-official-suicide/

Has this been discussed? I don't remember it but there has been a lot in this thread.

Quote:

One of the nation's highest-ranking intelligence officials died by suicide at his home in the Washington, D.C., area in June, but the U.S. intelligence community has remained publicly silent about the incident even as the Central Intelligence Agency has conducted a secret investigation of his death.

As NIO for Military Issues, Schinella was the highest-ranking military affairs analyst in the U.S. intelligence community, and was also a member of the powerful National Intelligence Council, which is responsible for producing the intelligence community's most important analytical reports that go to the president and other top policymakers.

NO AMNESTY!

in order for democrats, liberals, progressives et al to continue their illogical belief systems they have to pretend not to know a lot of things; by pretending "not to know" there is no guilt, no actual connection to conscience. Denial of truth allows easier trespass.

Oh boy, the thoughts I have on what really happened are book worthy.

When I saw "bondage and S & M", I immediately thought of black mail, among other things. Of course, the whole ICA came to mind too. Newly married, and retiring this year? Yeah, there's an interesting story here, we'll likely never know.

Who knows, but I could speculate for a while.

Quote:

After his death, Schinella's wife discovered a large collection of bondage and S&M gear that had been hidden in his house, along with 24 guns and thousands of rounds of ammunition. His wife said that one of Schinella's CIA colleagues contacted her recently and said the CIA has completed an investigation into Schinella's death, but didn't provide her with any details.

not that there is anything wrong with that..... or maybe somebody had a throwdown gag?

Just a reminder, it was Kramer who left a Buzzfeed reporter alone in his office on a weekend with the Steele Dossier making the reporter "promise" he wouldn't use his phone to copy the dossier. Then pretended to be mad that the reporter did it anyway.

I think the jig is up indicator is more that he went behind everyone to ask Pientka "so how ****ed are we?" Or "we need to get our stories straight" or "holy ****, we need to get one last sex sesh in before the lid is blown and im not talkin about my gamecock"
