He was actually a sleaze before he even entered politics. Look at his flight history (And service history), and how he got into naval aviation despite being last in his class at the naval academy (where he wouldn't have even gotten in but for his dad/grand-dad).

I'm not surprised a bottom-feeder like McCain was involved with this garbage. He wasn't the only one. It would not surprise me at all to see people like Burr, Corker, and Ryan somehow involved with this as well.

For Obama and his shadow state to get away with this, Republicans had to look the other way. Some of them, like McCain, did even more.

Agreed! Both parties are filled with swamp rats that need to be brought into the light. I would be disappointed if members of only one party ended up being exposed. Unfortunately, the swamp is so deep that I doubt if anything will happen to anyone of significance.

I think we've got the perfect storm to make this happen:

1. A President who knows people in his party were in on it and doesn't give a damn about protecting anyone involved.

2. An Attorney General who doesn't give a damn what a party thinks of him.

3. Prosecuting attorneys and investigators with a missionary zeal to find the facts and pursue justice.

This is like baseball. You don't have to hit them all to send the right message. You hit 300 and knock a few home runs in the deal and you will have everyone paying attention to the consequences of doing the dirty in the future.

She goes on to say that what they learned from the Mueller investigation is that something like that couldn't be a conspiracy because it is out in the open....
