Seth Rich's parents are dems..........or course they ran with story about a mugging gone bad.

It is pathetic.

Only thing pathetic is you guys trashing a dead guys parents because they won't play along with your bull**** partisan political fantasy.

Almost as pathetic as the notion the Bill Barr's justice department would be complicit in the cover up of a murder scheme perpetrated by the DNC.
The partisan political fantasy here was the claim, based on the fantasy writings of an out-of-work British intel agent, that Trump conspired with the Russians to steal the election from Hillary Clinton.

We are now on page 1134 detailing the conspiracy of the Obama Administration, the DNC/Clinton Campaign, and SES political appointees in Federal intelligence-gathering agencies to overthrow the duly-elected President of the United States.

Was there one thing in this entire episode, from Obama to Brennan to Comey to Mueller to Van Grack, that was true?

You want to complain about what is being said about Seth Rich? Where were your complaints about the accusations laid against Trump and those working for him?

I agree with you that the Steele dossier was partisan political fantasy. So entertaining the idea that DNC put out a hit on Seth Rich is equivalent to believing that Donald Trump let a couple of Russian strippers pee on him in a bed that Obama had slept in.

When we get three years' worth of investigation of Democrats surrounding Seth Rich's murder, then it will be the equivalent of the Steele Dossier.

I don't know who put the hit on Seth Rich. There are many options. It seems there was a reason nothing was taken from him. They didn't want it to look like a robbery. They wanted it to look like a hit. They wanted to send a message to anyone who might be considering leaking other information. You have to be very partisan or very dense to think this was not a targeted hit with a message.

I have a hard time with the 'hit job' theory also. However, I'm entirely open to the plausibility of an inside leak to Wikileaks and the possibility of Seth Rich as a suspect.

"The DNC" is an amorphous term. Individuals hire/commit murders, not organizations (although organizations may employ them; see Planned Parenthood). There have been reasons not to trust the FBI for decades. The Steele dossier as a subset of anything associated with various Clinton-related FBI investigations is an exemplar of the same things; lies, injustice, crimes, and obfuscation.

That there was no FBI inspection of the server, and crowdstrike found no evidence it was 'the russians' who hacked it, and that it was likely the case the FBI did in fact investigate the Rich murder but lied about it, until forced to admit under oath that some investigation had happened, is not akin to believing the piss dossier Clinton paid for is maybe true.

I read the column linked below.

Makes some interesting points, specifically about a lawyer's (Clevenger) request to Richard Grenell...to declassify the NSA information related to Seth Rich.

American Thinker Column about Seth Rich from Jack Cashill May 11, 2020

Don't know what John Ratcliffe will do in relation to the request, now that he is the DNI. Will he declassify?

I searched and could not find anything.

This. Also part of the warning was how quickly the police dropped the case and how quickly Seth's family got on board. The only people remembering Seth's name and life are the blogosphere freedom lovers.

That is enough to deter a whole slew of big government statist, would be whistleblowers.

Heads up.

Quote:

A watchdog group is asking the U.S. Education Department to investigate the University of Pennsylvania and its Biden Center, a diplomacy and global engagement initiative named after the Democratic presidential candidate, for accepting millions of dollars in anonymous funds from Chinese donors.

The complaint, filed by the National Legal and Policy Center, says that over the past three years, the university has accepted around $22 million in anonymous funding from Chinese sources. That's out of a total of more than $70 million from Chinese donors during that time, the NLPC said.

Those significant funds, including the anonymous amounts, rolled in after the Biden Center was announced in early 2017 and launched in February 2018. The center is located in downtown Washington, D.C.
Quote:

Federal records show that the University of Pennsylvania has received significant donations from China since the opening of the center. One 2018 donation alone totals $14.5 million; it is listed as "anonymous" in federal records.

The NLPC alleges the university may have violated federal law in accepting those anonymous monetary donations. The Higher Education Act mandates schools report the national origins of any donations above $250,000 although not necessarily the individual names of donors themselves.

Still, the NLPC is calling on the Education Department to "conduct a full Investigation and Records Request of all monetary gifts and contracts that have been received by the University of Pennsylvania and its Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement from China sources."

Neither the Biden campaign nor the Biden Center responded to requests for comment on Sunday. The University of Pennsylvania's media office also did not respond to a query.
Quote:

It is not immediately evident from Penn's financial disclosures how much, if any, of those Chinese donations are going to the Biden Center. Yet Paul Kamenar, a lawyer for the NLPC, told Just the News on Sunday that "it's not too hard to connect the dots."

"This is foreign money coming into the university. It's not going to their English department," he said via phone. He noted that the university has a center called "Penn Global" with several sub-departments, one of which is the Penn Biden Center.

"It's just logical that it goes from the university to the university's international global groups, of which the Biden center is one."
Quote:

"It's not a stretch to conclude that the Penn Biden Center has to be getting money from somewhere. They're not holding bake sales to raise funds," Kamenar said.

"Even if the source of the all the mega-millions of China donations are disclosed, depending on the terms and conditions of the grants, there's a question of whether the University and its Biden Center are violating the Foreign Agents Registration Act," he added, calling the matter "a national security issue."

I posted a story a few days ago that compared the amount of Chinese or anonymous donations to the University of Pennsylvania before the Biden Center and after. It was quite a difference. Has to be because of Biden.

Republicans are broadening their investigation into special counsel Robert Mueller as the Obamagate controversy heats up.

Rep. Devin Nunes, the ranking member on the House Intelligence Committee, said fresh criminal referrals are imminent as more people come forward with information about what Trump allies view to have been a plot to undermine the president.

"We've also expanded our investigation into the Mueller team and everything that happened with Mueller and the people at DOJ and FBI that were above Mueller. And so, we will be making criminal referrals in the coming weeks against the Mueller team. We're just now putting that together and, of course, as always, waiting on more documents that we really need to come out," the California congressman told Fox News legal analyst Gregg Jarrett on Witch Hunt: The Flynn Vindication, a special program that aired Sunday evening.
