Sullivan may need someone to come to his defense?

I think that was what Sullivan was actually doing when he appointed Gleeson. Tee up someone for the appellate court to appoint on his behalf.

Without a recording that is all speculation. Is it possible? Sure. But I think there might be some confirmation bias that "Obama was the bad guy, who ordered all this". Comey has plenty of motive and this email is evidence against Comey.

I am guessing Comey might say differently.

Don't think I've heard of a judge filing in response to a mandamus. Usually it would be real party in interest, but that's Flynn.

So has to be Gleeson I'd guess
there was a recent case I think in the 5th Cir (one of the Texas districts) where the judge filed a response. I'll have to google around a bit for the brief but it's been done.

Completely agree. Comey might refute this email. I just think its only speculation that Obama clearly ordered Comey to take these actions. If he was smart, he would have ONLY insinuated and left the interpretation up to Comey. Kinda like when Lynch only insinuated that Comey needed to let Clinton off the hook, I think there is a clear pattern that Comey would go "above and beyond" to keep his hold on power, laws be damned.

Comey is a dirty cop who hated Trump. I don't think he would need a direct order from Obama to entrap flynn. I also can see the logic that this Rice email was CYA, But CYA doesn't mean its a lie.

This is a cute semantic detail that 0 and his flunkies were playing, but what is the point of withholding any information from the incoming administration, particularly as it relates to very high ranking people?

They are going to have this information in 15 days! What possible reason is there to justify the outgoing administration deciding what information the incoming administration should be allowed to see?

It's probably not illegal or against any regulation because no one ever thought to put in place a law/regulation covering something so blatantly outrageous.

To me the bigger issue is that they aren't talking about sharing information with the transition, but they are conspiring to not tell the new president after he is in office.

Isn't Gleason a retired judge? The appellate court isn't going to appoint him.

Why? You don't think retired judges are appointed as amicus to defend the conduct of a presiding judge?

Gleason's retired.

He also penned an Op Ed over the weekend about how Sullivan didn't have to accept the dismissal recommendation and could still get Flynn for perjury.

And here we are.

Wtf?!?!?! That's insane. That's the easiest way to get a bunch of our Intel fed straight to foreign states. Incredible

Btw, I keep thinking on the 3 counts of conspiracy to overthrow the government. Does that mean there were three different provable attempts or strategies employed? Or merely three different key meetings they can track these *******s back to? Feels like these are intentional leaks to scare the hell out of the conspirators by demonstrating what has been uncovered.

Quote:

he infamous story of Joe Biden's effort to force the firing of Ukraine's chief prosecutor in 2016 has taken a new legal twist in Kiev, just as the former vice president is sewing up the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination in America.

In Kiev late last month, District Court Judge S. V. Vovk ordered the country's law enforcement services to formally list the fired prosecutor, Victor Shokin, as the victim of an alleged crime by the former U.S. vice president, according to an official English translation of the ruling obtained by Just the News.

The court had previously ordered the Prosecutor General's Office and the State Bureau of Inve
stigations in February to investigate Shokin's claim that he was fired in spring 2016 under pressure from Biden because he was investigating Burisma Holdings, the natural gas company where Biden's son Hunter worked.

Not sure about the source but it was linked from BonginoReport.com. (Edit: AggieHawg pointed out it's John Solomon, I didn't notice that.)

Wait! A few weeks ago there was an article that said Perkins, Coie direct billed the DNC and presumably the Hillary campaign for Fusion's services. Meaning they didn't pay Fusion and get reimbursed as a cost, they just sent Fusion's bills directly to the client.

So which is it?

Remember when we all were discussing the contractor access to the NSA metadata through the FBI? Although what Rogers and Judge Collyer found didn't go all of the way back to 2012 there were strong suspicions that the same activity was going on in 2012. That year was mentioned specifically.

There's a big question as to whether or not Rice was even present at the conclusion of the WH meeting when Yates & Comey stayed behind to talk with Obama...that's when they talked about Flynn. Per Yates' testimony, she only mentioned Obama & Comey being present with her.

I know we have talked about it extensively, but the FBI made this whole case with LEAKING information to the press. Nothing was about investigating these people.

It was all about leaking specific information so the MSM ran with it so you could put it into the investigation.

EVERYTHING was circular reporting, and it all started with the FBI.

FBI -> MSM -> FBI

Rinse repeat for anyone you want to indict. Make you own case.

Quoting myself to adjust my thoughts. Its looking like I was incorrect.

With the new information that the office of WH Counsel were the ones who directed Susan Rice to write this email several weeks later. That makes it less likely that Rice was accurately recounting events.

In fact, it brings in the possibility that she was provided and ordered to write this email by Obama. Because this fabrication was meant to hide a possible crime (spying on american citizen without a warrant), just this action in itself might be criminal. What WH lawyer was dumb enough to take on this task?

I'm honestly shocked that Obama administration was this brazen.

Interesting thread from Huber about the faked leak to CNN.

His theory is that the Manafort fake FISA story was not only an intimidation tactic towards Manafort's attorneys but also to Covington & Burling as Flynn's attorneys. There were three non-public hearings before Judge Beryl Howell regarding Team Mueller's attempt to force Manafort's lawyer to testify against Manafort on the FARA charge. If there was in fact a FISA on Manafort, most of those communications would be in the hands of Team Mueller already. So the judge ruled against Manafort and ordered the attorney(s) to testify.

That's the "Manafort" treatment that Covington & Burling reference as being afraid of a month or so later in communication with Van Grack.

Since the hearing were not publicized, the leak would have had to come from Team Mueller.

You think Rice actually composed what she typed? No way. That was an agreed upon narrative and was likely written by a White House lawyer.
