Schiff lies because it's like a bodily function to him and he knows that the only entities that could possibly hold him to account are the press (laughable) and the voters in his district (again laughable). Only way to really deal with him effectively is to neuter him in Congress and the Rs would have to control the House for that.

Flynn didn't get off scot free. He lost his money, job, house, 3+ years of his life worrying, his reputation was trashed and is still being trashed, etc. that's a hell of a punishment for a coerced perjury rap. Obama opining about the rule of law is a joke.
This maybe a debate for a separate thread, but for you attorneys would this be a time for Trump sue Clapper, Brennan, Rice, Power, etc fpr defamation? Could he prove actual malice as required in NYT v Sullivan? Or would they get off because it could be considered a statement of opinion?
