Actually, he might have an issue with the lawsuit results from Flynn's Russian set-up. Others here will know, but I think that lawsuit is still in play against Halper. To me, it's a good one, but it may have no standing.

Wherever that particular lawsuit goes, it's kind of fun to see Halper sweat, since I know he's tried to get out of the suit by claiming he's employed by the government.

But you're right '96, Halper likely has a little plaque sticking to his arteries someplace.

News will be slow over the Christmas Holiday period, so if you have some free time, I am strongly recommending that you slowly peruse the most intriguing research article ever written about the Steele Dossier -- there are so many details revealed in this endeavor:

https://apelbaum.wordpress.com/2018/03/

Quote:

The Mechanics of Deception

It's a fascinating presentation of investigative research that is absolutely mind boggling, revealing the intimate relationships between a contingent of 25+ individuals who figure prominently in the background of the Steele Dossier. The amount of material the author acquired & analyzed with his vast array of skills, equipment & software is just amazing:

Quote:

The Analysis: Methods and Tools
The data collection and analysis environment was based primarily on open source tools. I've also utilized several commercial packages to fill-in the gaps in the framework. The following are the solution components:
The Analysis: Data Sources
To identify the entities and build the dossier network I've used the following publically available sources (see above architecture diagram for more details):
  • Server and computer logs
  • Network scans and maps
  • Federal, state, media, and news archives
  • Email, forum, websites, blog, and message archives and backups
  • Publically accessible IoT devices and cams
  • On-line image and file depositaries
  • Social media postings by friends, neighbors, and family
  • LinkedIn profiles
  • Twitter profiles
  • FB profiles
  • Corporate and court filings
  • Commercial BR sources

The Analysis: Data Processing

The total data storage was about 7TB, the loading time for the data was about 6 hours, and the processing time (entity creation, enrichment, linkage, and anomaly detection) was about 36 hours. I also spent about 2 hours writing scripts to FR, LPR, and OCR some of the PDFs and images before they could be loaded into the database. The operation was executed on a Dell PowerEdge R630 server with a 4 x 4TB array of SSD Intel P4500 series drives, a quad Intel Xeon E5-4669 2.1GHz processor, and 64GB of RAM.

This article was published on March 17, 2018. Hopefully Durham has utilized it as a blueprint.

It has always made much more sense that the progressive leftist political party would align with foreign globalist and internationalist interests far more than any American first populist nationalist would. Again, the Dems always accuse others of what they have already been doing.

So the FBI had at least one confirmed spy (or agent provocateur) in the Trump Campaign.

Not that we didn't already know it, but now one is confirmed and we know who it likely was.

My bet is that he was on Glenn Simpson's payroll. Remember when Simpson testified before Nunes & the HPSCI? They had subpoenaed Fusion GPS's bank records, & there were 3 journalists who received payments but the court redacted their names:

Way too much stuff partially exposed by Horowitz that needs accounting for that had little to nothing to do with Steele. By himself, Steele was just an agent provocateur. He told people what they wanted to hear for a tidy sum. Looking at all the connections just to this incident, it appears there is an entire industry of muck raking political "consultants" and hatchet men for hire out there. Looks like there is a tidy sum to be made off of third party or even government contracts or political donations in doing political dirty work.

Just speculating on Byrne by his interviews, he seems like a guy who genuinely wanted to help, and then realized he MAY be helping to perpetrate this ridiculous fiasco we've been investigating for the last three years. I'm also sure he became concerned about Overstock share prices, knowing what the benighted Lefty idiots might do.

It IS kind of interesting he's been silent for over a year. My observation could certainly be wrong, but since he was dating, or at least friends, with the Russian who was jailed for a minor gun violation, I'm sure there's probably more to his story.

Fusion GPS Players:
Glenn Simpson Co founder
Mary Jacoby Chief Executive & Simpson's wife
Tom Catan Cofounder
Peter Fritsch Principal
Neil King Jr. Cofounder
Nellie Ohr Contractor
Edward Baumgartner Contractor

Orbis Business Players:
Chris Steele Cofounder
Chris Burrows Cofounder

Here's some interesting connections revealed from The Mechanics of Deception about which you should be aware when you are analyzing information about SpyGate & the Steele Dossier. Note below the historical relationships between the above characters as well as their relationships with other important characters figuring in SpyGate (& there are others I did not include):

Quote:

Steele and Chris Burrows worked with Stefan Halper as early as 2005. Steele knew Jonathan Clarke from his days in MI6 and communicated and met him in the US. Burrows knew and communicated with Joseph Mifsud since 2010. Edward Baumgartner had been contracting with Orbis and Hakluyt since 2011.

Baumgartner, Nellie Ohr, Bruce Ohr, and David Kramer are all Harvard alumni. Nellie Ohr knew Stefan Halper since at least 2000. Nellie Ohr also worked in the MITRE Corporation with Halper's son Marin Halper for six years from 2002-2008.

Tom Catan, knew and worked with Steele, Harding, Burrows, and Baumgartner since 2011.

Glenn Simpson and his wife Mary Jacoby knew Bruce and Nellie Ohr from their days at the International Assessment and Strategy Center as early as 2004. Simpson and Jacoby knew and worked with Stefan Halper at the WSJ since 1996. They also knew Steele from their days at the WSJ going back to 2009.

Jacoby knew and worked with Christopher Steele, Nellie Ohr, Peter Strzok and his wife Melissa Hodgman the Associate Director in SEC Enforcement Division, Peter Fritsch, Neil King Jr. and his wife Shailagh Murray, David Kramer, Jonathan Winer, and Sidney Blumenthal who worked with her at Salon in 2004.

It seems 'The Team' was composed of veterans who, in many cases, knew one another beforehand.

Long post, sorry...

https://amgreatness.com/2019/03/18/how-a-former-mccain-associate-obtained-the-steele-dossier-and-helped-advance-the-russian-collusion-narrative/

Quote:

After receiving a subpoena to appear before the House Intelligence Committee last year, David Kramer, a close associate of the late Senator John McCain (R-Ariz.), invoked his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination. The committee had additional questions to ask Kramer about his handling of the infamous Steele dossier, which he helped circulate on Capitol Hill and in the news media after the 2016 presidential election.

Now, we may know why.

Kramer's recently unsealed court deposition in a lawsuit related to the dossier contains bombshell revelations that not only directly contradict media reporting about how McCain came into possession of the dossier, but Kramer's December 2017 testimony also undercut claims made by McCain himself in his 2018 book. This might explain why Kramer refused to appear before the committee for a second time....

Read the above article for details first...then....but wait, there is now much more to the story per Horowitz's report:

https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2019/12/26/ig-report-reveals-steele-funneled-claims-through-john-mccain-after-fbi-dropped-him/

Quote:

The IG report discloses that McCain gave five new Steele reports to Comey that the FBI did not previously possess, showing that McCain served as a conduit for Steele's information to reach the FBI even after the British ex-spy was formally cut off as an FBI source.

It is not clear whether McCain knew at the time that Steele had previously been terminated as an FBI source.

The IG report also verifies that a McCain aid obtained the Steele reports directly from Fusion GPS co-founder Glenn Simpson, meaning that when McCain transferred the anti-Trump charges to Comey he had to have known that the material originated with a firm that specializes in controversial opposition tactics....

And indeed from Pages 175-176 of Horowitz's Report:

Quote:

Several weeks later, on December 9, 2016, Senator John McCain provided Corney with a collection of 16 Steele election reports, 5 of which Steele had not given the FBI.319 McCain had obtained these reports from a staff member at the McCain Institute. The McCain Institute staff member had met with Steele and later acquired the reports from Simpson. Steele told the OIG that a former European Ambassador to Russia who generally was familiar with Steele's election reporting informed Steele that the former Ambassador would be meeting with Senator McCain at a conference in Nova Scotia in November, and asked Steele whether he wanted the former Ambassador to talk with McCain about the election reporting. Steele said he replied that he did, which resulted in the McCain Institute staff member visiting Steele in Europe in late November. According to deposition testimony the McCain Institute staff member provided in foreign litigation, during this visit Steele discussed his reporting with the staff member and showed the staff member a piece of paper on which Steele had written the true names of his subsources, although the staff member could not recall them. Steele told us that he shared some of the sub-source names with the staff member because the staff member was a "Russia expert" and had been tasked by Senator McCain to determine whether Steele's reporting was serious. The staff member also testified that Steele explained to him that the information in the reports needed to be corroborated and verified and that Steele was not in a position "to vouch for everything that was produced .... "

So Kramer not only acted as the conduit for passing Steele Dossier reports to Comey & the FBI via his boss & Trump-lover John McCain, Kramer also passed the same Steele reports to BuzzFeed News, including one he neglected to give to McCain:

From Page 176 of Horowitz's Report:

Quote:

Finally, by early January 2017, BuzzFeed had obtained copies of some of the Steele election reports during a meeting with the McCain Institute staff member and published them as part of an article titled "These Reports Allege Trump Has Deep Ties to Russia."321 Included in this collection was Report 166, another report that previously had not been shared with the FBI. It included allegations that Trump attorney Michael Cohen had held secret discussions in Prague in late summer 2016 with representatives of the Kremlin and "associated operators/hackers," and that the "anti-Clinton hackers" had been paid by the "[Trump] team" and Kremlin.322 The FBI eventually concluded that these allegations against Cohen and the "Trump team" were not true.

Footnote 321: These were the same Steele reports that Senator McCain gave to Comey on December 9, except that the thumb drive did not include Report 130.

So now you know the role David Kramer played in peddling Steele's Dossier; David Kramer, known by both Glenn Simpson & his wife, Mary Jacoby, all players on the same team.
