I doubt it. He sure wasn't kind to Comey.
Comey was expendable. He was daring Trump to fire him to set up an obstruction premise. All that Mueller did for 22 months was try to provoke Trump into doing something that could be construed as obstruction.

.....But for the time being, the relationship between the former Vice-President of the European Parliament and Mifsud is not back. Only in November 2017, in fact, the current senator dem told Repubblica that between him and Mifsud a "friendship relationship was born that we participated in various events together". Later, Pittella drew an affectionate portrait of the Maltese academic, "a warm and intelligent person, one of the greatest public relations men ever known, a high-profile man", thanks to whom he had been able to participate in "very interesting meetings on the Mediterranean" .

But now that the Spygate case threatens to create upheavals, the tones become much colder.

A couple of weeks ago, interviewed by Corriere, Pittella stated that yes, he knew Mifsud, but this time he is presented simply as a character who "had contacts with hundreds of universities and invited me to several conferences, but never more than this". Do you understand? "Never more than this." Yet it is sufficient to consult the search engines to realize that the relationship between the two actually goes much further......

It seems Mifsud has become a hot potato in Italy ever since Barr's trips. When asked about their prior relationships, high ranking politicians are responding: "Who's he?" or "I hardly knew him at all." Multiple politicians have reacted in this manner, not just the latest revelation above.

Wait a minute, gd, who's the frickin' boss of the DOJ? It's Barr. And who's frickin' Barr's boss? It's Trump.

I certainly don't know all of the details of WH operations (I'm a Republican), but dammit, who's running the show? Even if someone else is running the show, then it seems to me they damn well better have profound "goods" on somebody. Honestly, what else could they dig up on Trump?

Why did Mifsud go into hiding in the first place? Who was he hiding from? That's the key here.

Question then... Why is Trump keeping him around? Trump has no qualms about firing someone. If Wray is a hindrance, why is he not getting rid of him?

I see the delays as one of two things:. Scuttle everything or need ultimate coordination before things break open.

I wonder if Trump is looking to make a deal with the Dems as this plays out. Get his legislation and judges passed. He has all the cards and probably cares more about his ego than justice. I voted for him and will again, but I also recognize what kind of man he is. He also recognizes the entire system is rigged, so he might as well get what he wants.

Durham knows everything right now about how things went down and who's guilty. He doesn't need their testimony. These two jokers either confirm it under oath and sink some folks or they lie and are caught. Or he knows they are guilty and he wants to get a story under oath now before bringing charges.

so do they implement Obama and other DEM & Republican Congressman and Senators that were in on this and wanted them to do this? that's the million dollar question? or do they each fall on the sword? Something tells me Brennan and Clapper will sing like a red bird drinking his morning coffee

Let's see if Brennan and Clapper agree to voluntarily appear or if he has to break out a grand jury subpoena?

If it's the latter, popcorn time!

Don't know if this is of interest or not.

JUDICIAL WATCH: AP REPORTERS GAVE DOJ/FBI UKRAINE INFO AND CODE TO PRIVATE LOCKER OF PAUL MANAFORT IN APPARENT EFFORT TO PUSH CRIMINAL PROSECUTION

Quote:

Judicial Watch today released two productions of heavily redacted FBI documents 28 pages and 38 pages about an April 11, 2017, "off-the-record" meeting set up by then-Chief of the Justice Department's Criminal Fraud Section Andrew Weissmann, between the DOJ, the FBI and the Associated Press in which AP reporters provided information on former Trump Campaign Director Paul Manafort, including the numeric code to Manafort's storage locker.

Two months later, in early June, Weissmann was hired to work on Robert Mueller's special counsel operation against President Trump. Weissman then reportedly spearheaded the subsequent investigation and prosecution of Manafort.

They will require a subpoena, then fight the subpoena, and then refuse to testify claiming some form of intelligence based prohibition, then assert the 5th. Brennan won't testify on any relevant issue.

I see it a bit differently. A grand jury subpoena means there is a sitting grand jury investigating the matter and the possibility that Brennan and Clapper are the targets suddenly gets very very real.

The only way to fight the subpoena (which has been approved by the federal judge overseeing the grand jury's actions) would be a Motion for a Protective Order that would set parameters for such testimony. (Limited attendance, in a SCIF, transcript sealed until later, invocation of CIPA procedures)

A Motion to Quash won't work to avoid testifying, IMO. I don't care how classified or top secret Brennan and Clapper want to yammer about. We have procedures for those.

Only way to avoid testifying completely is invoking the 5th. Period.

I certainly don't know the whole story, but my severe dislike for the media right now wants me to find out if there is any legal culpability for the reporters?

The first insider's narrative on the travails of retired Army Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn has been filed in federal court amid a battle over access to multiple pieces of evidence.

Flynn, convicted of lying to the FBI, had to sell his home to pay legal bills, says the narrative. Prosecutors threatened to go after his son and business partner, Michael Flynn Jr., unless he cooperated.

Sidney Powell wrote this story in a letter to Attorney General William Barr in June as she was taking over as defense counsel for the former White House national security advisor.

She broke from the blocks running, accusing the government of withholding exculpatory evidence that would show prosecutors violated U.S. District Judge Emmet Sullivan's order. Her motions essentially have been an attack on special counsel Robert Mueller's probe into Russia election trespassing, though Flynn was convicted of lying to FBI agents on another matter.

Special Assistant U.S. Attorney Brandon L. Van Grack responded this month with an attack on Ms. Powell's tactics. He said the government owns no such exculpatory, or "Brady," material and accused her of advocating "conspiracy theories."

"If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves." - Sir Winston Churchill

Was listening to Lou Dobbs while driving home this evening. Sidney Powell said that her latest filing (above) was under seal & that she had to wait for the government's response before she could comment. Regarding SpyGate, she later made a statement that Brennan & Clapper were in it up to their ears. I was driving in heavy traffic & couldn't listen carefully for more details.

State Department folks get territorial about where they are stationed. Truly believe they represent that country to to US and not the other way around,

Taylor was turned by Schiff's staffers, not that he wasn't deep state anyway.

Natalie Jaresko is an American born Ukrainian banker, who was the Ukrainian Minister of Finance from December 2014 till April 2016. She currently is on a Puerto Rico finance board, & today she was testifying before the House Committee on Natural Resources regarding Puerto Rico & PROMESA....not Schiff's Kangaroo Court. It was a coincidence, & Gomert took advantage of the situation to ask her about Ciaramella & it was recorded on video. Methinks that was a warning shot fired at Schiff.
