I may be a hick from Texas, but this is baffling. The NY Times article cites very vague references to Trump's lies and attacking the press. Absolutely no examples concerning Trump but there is an astounding number of lies and actual attacks on the press by the previous administration including:
- spying unlawfully on the press
- executive orders such as DACA which even Obama admitted could not hold up as Constitutional.
Just a couple examples.

Calling the MSM fake news is not the same as illegal spying on the news media. Trump has press meetings and does not shy away from calling on News media reps that are known to be antagonistic toward him.
Pulling a press pass for an obnoxious reporter(I use the term here very loosely) is not even close to attacking the press.

Very depressing.

There's always more than ONE reason, but IMO, when you believe one side is evil, then it's always motivating to feel as if you're helping your team, whether or not it's legal. In essence, you're a patriot, except you're a patriot for a political party, not your country. That also makes sense, as probably half of the Dem party are globalists, and can't wait to subject America to the cultures and laws of the rest of the world.

That would be a very poor bet, IMHO. Jews are well represented and respected in the media/entertainment industry, the Democratic party and their members, and in US liberalism as a whole. For entertainment you have Spitzer, Stewart, Stiller, etc. In the party you have Feinstein, Blumenthal, Schumer, etc. Jews are well represented in US liberalism and any anti-Semitic agenda would have an uphill battle to say the least.

In lieu of hemmy's comments, and based on witnessing 35 years of their actions, my view is that the Jewish Dems allegiances are to the Dem/ Very Progressive wing of that Party, not Israel.

Would they stand by while someone lit up the country with a nuke, probably not, but they would quickly get over it.
