So Deripaska cooperated multiple times with the FBI, and he even had a meeting with Bruce Our in 2015, but it seems Deripaska was cooperating because he wanted access to visit the US. In the same breath, Deripaska stated that the thought of Manafort colluding with Russia to sway the election was 'preposterous', and Deripaska claimed that he never had anything to do with the dossier; i.e., he was not a source for the dossier. Interesting. I've noted a few recent tweets suggesting that Nellie Ohr was a source for the dossier or the author of most of the material.

Quote:

..."Bruce Ohr is creating a link for us between people who had animus, who were in fact desperate to stop candidate Trump from being President Trump, both before and after he became the President-Elect," Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) who serves on the House Judiciary Committee, told Fox News during a break in the closed-door testimony....

"Before the election our government was involved in operation [opposition] research against candidate Trump. After the election, after he was the President-elect, the famous 'insurance policy' went into effect that clearly led to the special prosecutor and the investigation we're now seeing," Issa said.
"This is what we're uncovering, the pre-Mueller activity that created an environment in which many people, myself included, were willing to deal with a special prosecutor not knowing all the lies the American people and Congress had been told."...

Former CIA Director John Brennanwho played a key role in instigating the FBI's Counterintelligence investigation and promoting the Trump-Russia collusion narrativesaid in an interview with MSNBC on Tuesday that Ohr's actions were known to senior FBI and DOJ officials.
"It's my understanding that everything that Bruce Ohr did was approved and known to senior Department of Justice officials, coordinated closely with the FBI," Brennan said....

"Although Bruce Ohr, would appear to claim to be without partisan[ship], his wife, since 2015, knowingly worked on the 'find dirt on Trump,' try to make this connection with the Russians, for which she was paid and he didn't properly disclose," Issa said.
According to the Congressman, Ohr testified that he in fact did disclose the work his wife was doing to the FBI, and named specific names.
...

The testimony also revealed, according to Issa, that the FBI wanted to talk to Steele directly, even after they had fired him over his unauthorized contacts with the media.
"It is also very clear, he became a backchannel, willing backchannel, but then later the FBI actually sent back the other way, that they wanted to talk to him directly. In other words, even after they fired him, he had no credibility, they produced FISA warrants that did not make clear his lack of credibility, they then re-engaged him in some direct fashion," Issa said...

So senior DOJ officials were aware of Bruce Ohr's activities, including that his wife worked for Fusion GPS. Now Issa said that Nellie was working on digging Trump dirt since 2015...If this is true, who was she working for in 2015? I think we may find out, since if Bruce is cooperating with the investigation, surely Nellie is too.

2) Bruce & Nellie Ohr have never been interviewed by Mueller.

Later on the program, diGenova stated that Bruce Ohr has never been interviewed by Huber.

I hate to say it, but they are fixing to throw McCain's dead body under the bus, and challenge anyone to go after his legacy. McCain and Deripaska are going to be the sources behind the Free Beacon initiation. McCain is the portal for most of the dark money parked in the Deep State establishment.

I really wish Congress could hold an open hearing and discuss the Chinese access to her secret server while she served as Secretary of State. Get this out there.

Was watching Morning Joe for a few minutes this morning and they of course pooh-poohed the President's tweet about this as fantasy. They also conflated the DNC hack with her personal server that had been off-line for almost a year before the DNC material was published on WikiLeaks. The never distinguish between two totally separate computer systems over years apart.

Short thread. Manafort was under a FISA from 2014 till May 2016 when it was dropped. Reputedly a new FISA on him was approved in August 2016. What new 'evidence' was cited to undertake the new FISA? Was it planted news stories by the FBI in coordination with certain DNC operatives?

Louie Gohmert said on Bill Mitchell's podcast yesterday that he is working with the SDIG to get some sort of committee together to focus on his report on the Chinese hack on the. He said that's the reason that the SDIG report on it hasn't been made public yet. I'll try to find the tweet.

Let's go back to Manafort for a second. Is that claim that Manafort had a Title I FISA warrant? Or was he surveilled under Title 7 from 2014-2016? To get a Title I FISA warrant they would have to show probable cause in 2014 that Manafort was an agent of a foreign government.

Do all lobbyists for foreign governments get that classification and FISA warrants against them? The Podesta Group? James Carville? Adam Waldman? Fusion, GPS principals?

And the timing--2014. When in 2014? Before or after Yanukovych was deposed and fled from Ukraine? He fled to Moscow, not the U.S. Or was it Manafort's business relationship with Deripaska (an FBI asset) that triggered actions under FISA?

We need to see all of the Manafort FISA documents from 2014-2017. Old ones and the new ones. And find if Mueller had access to any of the information gathered under them.

Sidenote: Isn't today the deadline for Team Mueller to say whether they will retry Manafort on the ten counts resulting in a hung jury?

Dershowitz said he didn't expect them to announce they plan to retry him now because he argued they could retry him on all of the counts should Manafort appeal his conviction and get it reversed. And that's a hammer to use during appellate negotiations.

It's all about intimidation and leverage with Team Mueller.

One thing that struck me when Rosenstein was questioned by Congress. He is extremely intelligent. He would immediately fire back answers to complicated questions with ease, and was able to justify his actions with legal and bureaucratic jargon that forced me to listen to him very carefully. Very cool under pressure and confident. Something about the dude just didn't seem right with him.

All to say, he's a formidable adversary. Trump will need to be very careful on how to handle all of this. Rosenstein can maneuver any rule in the book to his favor, all while maintaining an air of neutrality and justice.

I do know that Goodwin is a good journalist. I've watched him on Dobbs for years.

Now, I have no idea as to the accuracy of his article, but I'm pretty comfortable with his writing, and therefore, I'd be surprised if he made it up.

It's likely he'll be on Dobbs tonight to explain.
Hate is how progressives sustain themselves. Without hate, introspection begins to slip into the progressive's consciousness, threatening the progressive with the truth: that their ideas and opinions are illogical, hypocritical, dangerous, and asinine.
This is backed by data.
