An old story but important given Mueller's latest attempt to look important.

Quote:

Donna Brazile says in her new book the Democratic National Committee (DNC) went against professional advice and sat idly for a month while Russians stole data because primaries were still underway in a number of states.

In May, when CrowdStrike recommended that we take down our system and rebuild it, the DNC told them to wait a month, because the state primaries for the presidential election were still underway, and the party and the staff needed to be at their computers to manage these efforts," Brazile wrote in her new book, "Hacks."

"For a whole month, CrowdStrike watched Cozy Bear and Fancy Bear operating. Cozy Bear was the hacking force that had been in the DNC system for nearly a year."

Cozy Bear and Fancy Bear are cybersecurity firms that have reported ties with Russian hackers. Both groups are blamed for the hacks on the DNC in 2016. CrowdStrike is a private U.S. cybersecurity firm that oversaw the protection of the DNC's servers.

And of course Susan Rice ordered a stand down on any effort to stop Russian trouble making; reported by the left wing Mother Jones no less.

There's not any hyperbole that accurately explains how much I dislike Dems who have no problem with this. I can handle a lot of things regarding corruption, etc., but not this.
Hate is how progressives sustain themselves. Without hate, introspection begins to slip into the progressive's consciousness, threatening the progressive with the truth: that their ideas and opinions are illogical, hypocritical, dangerous, and asinine.
This is backed by data.

And just to be clear, that report by Mother Jones isn't reporting of sources, there was actual testimony on it.

And we can't forget that Dennis Montgomery turned over to Mike Rogers of the NSA 47 hard drives and over 600 million pages of information, most of which was classified, and he testified before the combined congressional intelligence committees, in closed door session.

Seems that has been on radio silence for quite some time now.

But is it the type of info in a SCIF?

Hint: the answer is yes.

Hint part duex: SCIF material made its way onto Hillary's email because she couldn't be bothered to actually visit a SCIF, so Obama intel aides went and captured data, illegally, and emailed it to her, illegally. But you knew that if you didn't go head in the sand all the time.

It was just best to let that go, at the time. With the way all forms of classified information was cavalerly being sent into cyber space, it wouldn't surprise me if the Chinese knew the codes for the football today before Trump does.

Let's not forget, when the IG from the State Dept Steve Linick and the ICIG Charles McCullough filed reports alerting congress of the existence of the Clinton private server and then The fact that it had been compromised by foreign actors, and not Russia according to the ICIG.

Feinstein and company immediately tried to demonize and accuse both IG's of an "Anti-Clinton bias". Remember BOTH of these IGs were appointed by Barry Obama

And retrieve paperwork from the Printer, that is not suppose to even be in the SCIF.

She testified to it being a printer, dems tried to defend it that it was a fax machine, completely ignoring her foreign national maid was in a SCIF retrieving paperwork. They don't have Yoga, wedding plans and recipes in a SCIF.

Quote:

...
BRIEFING FOR: The President
FROM: Ray McGovern, former CIA briefer of The President's Daily Brief, and William Binney, former Technical Director at NSA
SUBJECT: Info Your Summit Briefers May Have Missed
We reproduce below one of our most recent articles on "Russia-Gate," which, in turn, draws from our Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity Memorandum to you of July 24, 2017.
At the time of that Memorandum we wrote:
Quote:

"Forensic studies of "Russian hacking" into Democratic National Committee computers last year reveal that on July 5, 2016, data was leaked (not hacked) by a person with physical access to DNC computer. After examining metadata from the "Guccifer 2.0" July 5, 2016 intrusion into the DNC server, independent cyber investigators have concluded that an insider copied DNC data onto an external storage device.
Key among the findings of the independent forensic investigations is the conclusion that the DNC data was copied onto a storage device at a speed that far exceeds an Internet capability for a remote hack."
"We do not know who or what the murky Guccifer 2.0 is. You may wish to ask the FBI," we wrote. However, we now have forensic evidence that shows the data provided by Guccifer 2.0 had been manipulated and is a fabrication.
We also discussed CIA's cyber-tool "Marble Framework," which can hack into computers, "obfuscate" who hacked, and leave behind incriminating, tell-tale signs in Russian; and we noted that this capability had been employed during 2016. As we pointed out, Putin himself made an unmistakable reference to this "obfuscating" tool during an interview with Megan Kelly.....

Well worth a read if you have any questions about the DNC 'leak' & the Mueller indictment.

Did Putin want Trump to win? "Yes" he says

Asked if Putin wanted Mr. Trump to win the 2016 presidential election amid concerns that Russia had a hand in interfering in the election process, Putin replied: "Yes, I did, yes I did, because he talked about bringing U.S.-Russia relations back to normal."
Quote:

Putin suggested that based on existing agreements, the U.S. should send requests to allow Russian law enforcement to interrogate and question the Russian indicted in Mueller's probe.

He said he'd even permit Mueller's team to be present for such questioning. He noted, however that Russia would expect the same treatment from Americans and reciprocate.

Mr. Trump later called Putin's suggestion an "incredible offer."

Here's all Binney's work on pdf's

The political pundits will all call Binney a crackpot, you won't find ant serious intel people doing it, even the left leaners. Bill Binney spent 36 at the NSA and invented most of the toolbox they use at the NSA. He's the real deal not some online anonymous tweeter and between both of these guys they are likely the foremost credible on this subject.
