And here we have another `Republican' joining the adversary to the `conservativism' he so thinks Trump has betrayed. So he joins the equivalent of a G.I. going to the Islamists. Riighht.marble rye said:RoscoePColtrane said:

Shocking to no one considering McCain's voting history.

The FBI agent on the Hillary Clinton email investigation who traded anti-Trump texts with her FBI colleague lover is pictured here for the first time since her name was revealed by congress.
Sally Moyer, 44, who texted '**** Trump,' called President Trump's voters '******ed' and vowed to quit 'on the spot' if he won the election, was seen leaving her home early Friday morning wearing a floral top and dark pants.
She shook her head and declined to discuss the controversy with a DailyMail.com reporter, and ducked quickly into her nearby car in the rain without an umbrella before driving off.
Moyer's texts and instant messages from her FBI devices were included in a 568-page inspector general report released last Friday, which said those messages and others 'raised concerns about potential bias in the Clinton investigation.'
Moyer was identified only as 'Agent 5' in the report, but her name was released by Rep. Mark Meadows during a congressional hearing this week.
Moyer, an attorney and registered Democrat appears to have worked at the FBI since at least September of 2006. She previously worked for law firm Crowell & Moring. Moyer graduated from Allegheny College in 1996 with a degree in political science.
Look, a liberal skank.Quote:
At the time of the texts, Moyer was on the 'filter team' for the Clinton probe a small team of government officials that determines whether information obtained by the FBI is considered 'privileged' or if it can be used in the investigation.
Moyer exchanged most of the messages with another FBI agent who worked on the Clinton investigation, identified as 'Agent 1' in the report.

"Manafort should be precluded from arguing that he has been singled out for prosecution because of his position in the campaign of then-candidate Donald J. Trump, or otherwise asserting that he has been selectively prosecuted by the Special Counsel's Office,"
Ehhh...?? Then even if he was convicted fully, and went to jail beyond just bail revoked, it would be irrelevant to Trump and the collusion case. Why would it matter.Quote:
Mueller is not going to turn this into a case about what Manafort did on the campaign i.e. collusion... What a joke this is turning into. Manafort is a scumbag but damn Mueller you have to play by the rules, tasked with investigating the Trump campaign, yet doesn't want to talk about the election....
Well she was the one who wanted to brief the issue of service of process when defense counsel had entered a general appearance and were standing there in the courtroom, clearly waiving the service of process issue and she indicted a company that was non-existent at the time of the acts complained.Quote:
You saw Techno_Fog's comments concerning those tweets, implying Jeannie Rhee is incompetent?
Could Mueller be worried that Manafort's case will dredge up things that will compromise Mueller's investigation/case?titan said:Ehhh...?? But wouldn't the replacement have to be approved by Congress? And if so, what are the chances that someone willing to do that would be confirmed?

On March 7, 2017, the White House announced Noel Francisco's nomination to the position of Solicitor General. He was confirmed by the U.S. Senate by a vote of 50-47 on September 19, 2017.
With the resignation of Rachel Brand on February 8, 2018, Noel Francisco became the third-ranking official in the Justice Department; he would be in charge of the Mueller investigation should the second-ranking official, Rod Rosenstein recuse himself, quit, or be fired.
There are a couple of things bubbling in the background here. There was a hearing before Judge Ellis (Virginia case) last month where the subject was Mueller's jurisdiction vis a vis Manafort's old money laundering allegations from years ago. Judge Ellis demanded an unredacted copy of Rosenstein's August 2, 2017 memo purporting to expand or clarify or explain Mueller's jurisdiction. Judge Ellis was delivered an unredacted copy of same a few weeks back but has not set a hearing yet. That memo is still under court seal.fasthorses05 said:
Hawg, don't answer that without answering this too.
Since there appears to be a couple of different methods to apply pressure on Rosey (supoena/contempt/impeachment), if they were to end up putting him in jail, wouldn't someone else have to take his place?
If so, wouldn't it be possible that the new person would be amenable to releasing these docs?
It might be worth reminding them that they voted for this corruption, and now they need to fix it!OneNightW said:

Yes. Because if he didn't, Judge Ellis would have blown a gasket and held Mueller and Rosenstein in contempt. The Judge have a direct order from the bench, give me the unredacted version under seal or invoke the Classified Information Procedures Act, (CIPA.) Either way, he was going to see it.redline248 said:
Do we (should we) believe that Rosenstein actually gave the original version of that memo to the court, and not some edited version?

because doing that is a one-way ticket to getting your bar card clipped. And, frankly, a visit from the marshal service.redline248 said:aggiehawg said:Yes. What I mean is, how would the judge know if it was original or edited? Who has possession of the original to which one could compare?
He has the redacted copy. MicroSoft Word and a light bulb take care of the rest. If they don't match, it will be evident.redline248 said:aggiehawg said:Yes.
