Above is the response by Trump's attorneys to prevent the release of attorney-client records from the Cohen office/home seizures unless specifically reviewed and approved by the privileged holder, Donald Trump. Need Roscoe or somebody to post the response: 8 pages. Legal perspective opinion requested by our resident attorneys.
Actually, this is really reasonable. All it asks is to 1) let Cohen review copies of what was seized and forward copies of Trump related info to DJT's new lawyers, 2) let DJT assert privilege on those documents the new legal team concludes are privileged, 3) let the taint team decide whether to contest those assertions and 4) put any disagreements before the judge.
It's really just saying, "now that destruction of the evidence is impossible, we should follow normal practice to protect privileged communications." It also protects Trump from the "lying to the FBI gotcha" they seem to love so much b/c his lawyers will know exactly what the FBI has officially seen and what it hasn't.
