Now let's examine that for a moment. Putting aside that Steele is the questionable source here, Steele is saying this in October of 2016, months after the DNC was supposedly hacked. Wouldn't the FBI want to investigate as being the origin of the hack?Quote:
She expounded in her typed memo. "The Russians have succeeded in placing an agent inside the DNC," she quoted Steele as saying.
No .... because by Oct-16 the FBI finally figured out that Steele was a nut-job ... albeit a useful nut-job.aggiehawg said:Now let's examine that for a moment. Maybe give a defensive briefing to Donna Brazile, then Acting Head of the DNC? At least request to see a list of persons on the DNC payroll? Go back to CrowdStrike and ask more questions about their findings? Maybe look at the servers themselves?
Did they do anything other than ignore it?
I don't think they'll full stop, just keep delaying things. That way they can yap about it incessantly for a while longer without actually DOING anything.aggiehawg said:
Andy McCarthy weighs in on the Nadler contempt of Congress mess HERE.
Takeaway, he doesn't think they'll actually pursue it further than a full House vote. I think he's overly optimistic that reason will prevail and they'll stop.
That's even worse, since Lisa Page and McCabe needed to involve the White House to get DOJ to move on the application. By doing so, they made the White House complicit in the fraud.Quote:

Not disagreeing but their risking the longer they delay...the more bored the public will become and ever more stale the ridiculous hype. I know I am, 'bored' that is.MooreTrucker said:I don't think they'll full stop, just keep delaying things. Yep and IMHO ... it's just exhibit #2367 in the case of the US Government vs <list of names> on criminal charges of Conspiracy to Defraud the US Government, 923. 18 U.S.C. 371.aggiehawg said:That's even worse, since Lisa Page and McCabe needed to involve the White House to get DOJ to move on the application. Kavalec's handwritten notes clearly flagged in multiple places that Steele might be talking to the media.
"June -- reporting started," she wrote. "NYT and WP have," she added, in an apparent reference to the New York Times and the Washington Post.
Later she quoted Steele as suggesting he was "managing" four priorities -- "Client needs, FBI, WashPo/NYT, source protection," her handwritten notes show.
Those same notes suggest Steele spun some wild theories to State, including one that the Russians had a "plant in DNC" and had assembled an "HRC dossier," apparent references to the Democratic National Committee and Hillary Rodham Clinton.
She expounded in her typed memo. "The Russians have succeeded in placing an agent inside the DNC," she quoted Steele as saying.
Normally, the FBI looks askance at "different versions" attributed to the same source. Tends to militate against their credibility. When a source is all over the place, even with developing information, they correct earlier erroneous assessments...to bolster their credibility. How it works.Quote:
This is really important 'intel'. A great big flat clue regarding the hacking/leaking of the DNC server emails. You mean to tell me that the FBI (Strzok & McCabe) ignored this. Just 'wow'!
This brings up one other point. There is more than one dossier. Suppose the above info was in a separate report Steele gave to the FBI. His initial dossier report talks about the Russians having a dossier on Hillary, but it doesn't say anything about a spy in the DNC.
I love de Genova, but like all talking heads (and that's what Joe is right now) I'll put more stock in his comments once a few of the prognostications come to pass. I do tend to believe him on Wray, and can't imagine him being a good leader. Of course, I came to that conclusion a while back.drcrinum said:
di Genova was just on Lou Dobbs' show. He said that Horowitz has now determined that the 3 FISA extensions on Carter Page had been obtained illegally. Still working on the initial FISA application, but the Kavalec memo & handwritten notes had been hidden from Horowita & he has just learned about them.
di Genova also said that Wray is best friends with Mueller & Comey, is an empty suit that doesn't want any conflict, & that he came from the same legal firm where Sally Yates went to work after she left the DOJ.
I'm sure the video clip of this interview will surface.

Yeah, there is something wrong with Burr through all of this. Warner seemingly runs the show and Burr sits back like a scared mouse.
I live in North Carolina and I have been astonished with his committee and behavior for a long time. Something is wrong? Blackmail makes a lot of sense but who knows?
When his term is up he needs to either not run again or the Republicans need to primary his ass.

The Times reported that the meeting's goal is to try to undermine the credibility of special counsel Robert Mueller's probe as well as the case against former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort. Trump's allies are also reportedly seeking information that could hurt Biden, who has led recent polls for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination.
Such inquiries were previously launched by the administration of current Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, who lost a recent reelection bid to political newcomer Volodymyr Zelensky. The new Ukrainian president will take office June 3.
Giuliani last week called for an investigation into Biden for his previous actions in Ukraine after a New York Times report on the former vice president's dealings with the country.
In 2016, Biden reportedly threatened to withhold $1 billion in U.S. loan guarantees unless the country removed a top prosecutor, who was later voted out. Biden's younger son, Hunter, was a board member of an energy company that the prosecutor had been looking into, according to the newspaper.
It is after all the biggest scandal in American history Ever and it is not even close!!!!!!Stressboy said:
