Not much, but a small leak.
What I get from that is that Comey's only failure was the letter right before the election and he cost Hillary the presidency. . . We all know he did much more than that but they are already trying to shape the narrative that this is what it is all about. Hillary should be president if he had followed the chain-of-command.

Then you didn't read the full article.

It is amazing to me how much Anti-Semitism and anti-Israel bias there is in the intelligence community. But I guess there has long been the question of dueling "loyalties" for American Jews serving in the federal government.

Some of this may be due to Jonathan Pollard. BTW, I was always curious of what Pollard gave the Israelis that deserved an almost life sentence. It must have been a doozy.

If this is the worst thing on Comey in the report, he's home free. Got to believe there's a lot more.

Washington Free Beacon - 17 May 2017

"I think when history knows the full fact pattern that led Director Comey to have that July news conference I mean, I think what your viewers know is a meeting on the tarmac between the spouse of the target of an investigation and the attorney general," he said.

"What your viewers don't know, Martha, and what Jim Comey frankly can't tell them because it's classified and I can't tell them because it's classified: There were a lot of other reasons that Jim Comey decided to take that decision upon himself," Gowdy said. "I think history is going to be much kinder to Jim Comey in that July press conference than the Democrats were when he had it."

After MacCallum questioned if Gowdy was insinuating that Comey had pressure on him not to prosecute Hillary Clinton, Gowdy quickly discredited the theory.

"I don't think the guy feels pressure. I think he wanted the public to have confidence in the investigation and the outcome," he said. "He made the only decision he could have made with respect to appropriating that decision away from the Department of Justice and making the decision himself."

"I only take away from that that you're suggesting that there were more entanglements between the Clintons and perhaps the Justice Department than everyone understands," MacCalllum said.

"You're very perceptive," Gowdy concluded.

Why would the honorable FBI then not blow the whistle? He could have stated frankly Clinton committed crimes and should be prosecuted. It seems he participated the the cover up by turning a blind eye.

I wish one of these guys would just blow the lid off this thing and leak the truth and supporting documents to the public. The branches of government aren't holding one another accountable.

If Comey had done his job, hildog would have been indicted before the election. She is a loser never destined to be POTUS.

Priestap has to have been featured prominently in the IG report that is currently being reviewed.

Was his prior testimony to the IG so complete that almost no one wanted to ask any questions?

Thanks Roscoe for printing the letter!

See:
1) McCabe not a key player per the OIG Report per McCabe's lawyer.
2) Strzok played a far more important role than realized per Priestap's testimony.

Add 1) + 2) = Strzok was going lateral into Brennan's Secret Task Force, and the latter was more than just Brennan's Secret Task Force as it had to exclude Rodgers & add in DOJ & White House Staff.
I suspect it was Brennan, Clapper, Comey, Lynch, Yates, Ohr, Rice, Powers, Rhodes + a few others, not to mention connections with Fusion GPS, DNC, & John Podesta.

I think this S&P text message confirms my earlier post. Strzok is the key. And the fact he is still employed by the FBI means he is a cooperating witness.

Pretty sure that people are looking past the fact that Goodlatte and Gowdy have already interviewed Bill Priestap for hours multiple times in both open and closed sessions. I'd say they were well aware of what he has to say. Perhaps they get tired of the redundancy and both chair their own committees and have open access to a lot of material.

I think that testimony yesterday was more for the benefit of Priestap than anything else. He was at the center of a lot of questionable stuff. He is the assistant director of the FBI Counterintelligence Division. This is the very division that was weaponized against a sitting POTUS. Priestap has to be forthcoming and appearing to be 100% cooperative and NOT "lacking any candor", as they like to calling lying your ass off these days. Priestap was asked a ton of questions yesterday that most of those doing the asking already knew the answers to. It was more of a chance for Priestap to be vividly candor and just further verify what they already know. I doubt there was any huge revelation yesterday. He probably is going to avoid prison for his efforts as well.

Don't forget, all these Committee Chair heads have seen Horowitz's reports. And the word it that report is white hot lava on the reputations and possibly criminal on the heads of the past DOJ brass and the FBI as well.

Well he better be asking for the phones with a warrant then. Because if anyone thinks Mulehead has some superpowers to start locking people up for telling him to piss off, disappointment is in your near future. Mueller is grasping at straws, or should I say Andrew Weissmann is, with this whole attempt to jail Manafort for witness tampering. Did you read all the crap I posted on that laughable motion? 67 pages of evidense that was crap. two pages of about 15 texts on WhatsApp? WhatsApp Messenger is a freeware garbage, not some super spy encrypted technology. This is all kabuki theater show fronting.

That article is definitely anti-Israel if not anti-Semitic. Some serious hatred there.

And it ignores that the Obama administration was very anti-Israel. If the Israelis were within a mile of the Trump campaign, they would have been shouting that from the rooftops.

It may be Kabuki theater but combine a compliant media and the police state overreach of the FBI/CIA and the Muller investigation this is some scary stuff. The government will never stop doing something once it starts and is allowed to happen without heavy criticism.

I'd tell Mueller to get a warrant specifying exactly what information he wanted to see and why. Not every witness should have their privacy invaded in that manner without probable cause. That's BS.
