Why does he have BOTH copies of the receipts? And why doesn't he show who signed for it?
this could be AFTER the tip has been processed (the tip is computer generated, not handwritten)

or maybe

some hotels allow you to enter tip in advance if ordering through their online system>?

I think "snapped" is interpreted very differently. The VT shooter had a very well planned attack. He killed a specific target in her dorm room, then:
1) changed his clothes
2) deleted his email, removed his hard drive, and dumped somewhere that it was never found
3) mailed some pre-prepared videos and documents to NBC, including an 1800 word manifesto
4) went to the lecture hall, chained 3 sets of doors, and planted a note saying the doors were rigged with bombs
5) Then went to shooting and killed 32 people

But that dude was still a crazy guy that snapped.

Starting to look like it.
If a Muslim was planning a terrorist attack, they would not go down to warn people it was about to happen.
Possibly. But again a flaw in those analyzing this stuff is always expecting rational actions from irrational/psychotic people.

On the off chance this really happened- maybe she wanted to give people one last chance to repent/follow Allah before getting slaughtered. If that was the case, it would be easy for the shouted message into a crowd to become simply "you're going to die" etc...

Just looking at the order it does seem like a meal for two. Maybe he had an escort in the room but who buys an escort room service?
Last meals of suicidal person- Good chance he was gorging himself with food-- could have been 2 meals for himself.

Problem with the escort theory is I think all those weapons would have been hard to hide, unless he was able to assure she stayed in a specific side of the suite perhaps...

This was several days before by the date. Not last meal kind of thing.

Which also means the weapons were not necessarily there and unlikely to be out or set up because room service would undoubtedly enter the room.

Not sure the assumption he would eat it all at once---

You know what be a good snack later tonight while I scout the concert from my window- bagel with cream cheese... Plenty of people.

Paddock was prescribed 10mg Valium in June.

It says he was prescribed 50 pills. Not pill popper quantities, or Xanax, or Klonopin, but this may establish at least some prior psychological issues.

Probably enough to steady his hands when murdering a large number of people.

Waiting on room service is an asswhip. I've ordered items with dinner before that I intended to eat the next morning.

But it's also very possible this lady was with him in the early part of the stay.

Or eat when he comes back from casino... whatever...

Whenever I have ordered room service, I tried to get what I need for a while, just not then...

Point is you can't look at a room service ticket and de facto know 2 people are eating... Unless he bought 2 buffet purchases- which interestingly enough, I have not seen posted. Shocking.

Pretty terrible food choice for someone winding down his life.

Why not lobster and 9 pounds of bacon? Or ribs and 5 gallons of blue bell

is there a good source for keeping up with the "real" investigation here?

To date, I've just been checking all kinds of different places and been trying to filter through the smoke. Would love to find a good singular source though...

Same thing with the Valium prescription. It's one of the most commonly prescribed meds in the country. In and of itself, it doesn't mean anything. It certainly doesn't prove that he had mental issues. Hell, my urologist prescribed Valium for me after my vasectomy. Too many people reading way too much into individual bits and pieces of information.

Quote:

Stephen Paddock encouraged his live-in girlfriend, Marilou Danley, to leave the country before his attack that left 58 people dead, her sisters told CNN affiliate Seven Network Australia.
The sisters, who spoke to Seven News exclusively, did not want to be identified by name and requested their faces be blurred.
"I know that she don't know anything as well, like us. She was sent away. She was sent away so that she will be not there to interfere with what he's planning," one of Danley's sisters told Seven News from their home in Australia's Gold Coast region.

Only asses tip 15% these days. Most humans tip 20-25.

But this guy was loaded, he spent more on the bagel than the "thank you."

Are you guys serious? I tip well at a restaurant, but I am not giving someone 20% to a roll a cart up to my room. 14% or whatever he gave is more than most will give for room service delivery. I would imagine most would give between $5 and $10.

But in a hotel they have to bring the food farther to your room than at a restaurant. Distance = tip.

I doubt it. Why would you add the expense for that kind of system? Hotels largely wouldn't care about that information. That would cost a whole lot more than just a simple "key".

Not really, they could be like the realtor boxes where they store the card uses and then can be retrieved whenever they want.
