they're not firing back at an inhabited hotel
Yeah, given it's Vegas, I was thinking that may just be random light reflecting.Quote:
That lower light is a strobe that has been on for days. There are images of broken windows in upper right corner of the MB.

Cops wouldn't fire into an occupied hotel like that. At least I hope not.
Nah, he wouldn't have been a dude who got pissed off at the earlier festival days, and brought ten guns into a room facing the concert while setting up cameras to catch the actions of police. Too much preparation for a heat of the moment crime.TurkeyBaconLeg said:
The Route 61 Harvest festival was a 3 day event. So it's no surprise that he checked in on the 28th.
Seems like he was planning to attend the music festival? Maybe something happend at the festival days prior that triggered his evil killing spree.
He lives only 90 mins away and could have decided to do something to the crowd and took a day or so to get everything set up?
At least plausible. My bet is premeditated and he used the days to plan with the real crowd there, but it's not a complete impossibility by any means.TurkeyBaconLeg said:

i won't argue the logicQuote:
Nonetheless, collateral damage can and does happen, but a lot less casualties if someone starts shooting back.
Or he planned to attend to have a killing spree and went through the trouble of getting the specific room with the view he needed. Sadly we'll never know anything except that innocent people lost their lives because one person didn't like something and felt the need to kill others because of it.TurkeyBaconLeg said:

I'll admit, I quite enjoy those sub-plots. Let's me know that the "WOLVERINES!!!!" are alive and well if anyone ever comes to mess with us on our soil.Presley OBannons Sword said:

Wow, now a guest on MSNBC has a guest in which that these automatic weapons are readily available, what a false narrative. They should at least comment on how difficult they are to obtain LEGALLY. How embarrassing.
Well, libs in this thread believe that you should not be able to legally obtain a gun if mentally ill, which is already against the law.
It's not easy in many states to have a person declared a danger for mental illness and take away their ability to obtain firearms.

Read the first page of this thread and look at how much of that garbage started flowing before the body count even came in
True to form, SeattleAg was absolutely jizzing his pants early in the thread. He couldn't wait to pin this on a Muslim and throw out those oh so clever lines about workplace violence and Amish folk.
He is truly a garbage poster and should be banned. He adds NOTHING to any thread on here. He just stokes flames. Utterly sickening.
I noticed that too.
Absolute garbage.
Like-minded users is why the politics board gets such a bad rap.
I fully support banning all of them from Texags too.

Sometimes I question your military experience.
While inhabited, suppressive fire will allow persons to move into position while throwing the shooter off his "rhythm" to seek cover. It is not meant to be accurate, but is highly effective. Non-combatants tend to find a way to GTFO of the way when the shooting starts on either end of the firefight.
Nonetheless, collateral damage can and does happen, but a lot less casualties if someone starts shooting back.
Regardless of whether you like the spin that they put on a story, CNN is actually a news organization. Fox is simply a collection of editorial opinions. It is how they make bank.DifferenceMaker Ag said:
Incidentally, for those of you who occasionally poke your head out of TexAgs to receive news about current events, CNN has put Fox to shame on their coverage of this story. Scoop after scoop after scoop from every conceivable angle.
Sad, but true.Props to them.
