I'm all for property rights!! Being a past alderman, you have to think and control growth. Counties have no control. ..that's why we see a fm road capacity turn into a state highway capacity. It is not that you want to control growth but manage it for the betterment of all involved

In Texas, it is never wise to build next to or close to creeks, rivers, lakes, wet weather creeks or anything that drains or collects water. You will flood.
