A) That number is inflated as it includes those who died with COVID not of COVID, and the people who counted the dead are the hospitals getting paid for COVID deaths.
B) The supermajority of those who died were well over the age of 70 and had 3+ comorbidities. COVID was what pushed them across the goal line. People freaked out like this was the Spanish Flu that killed the young just as well as the old. Poland didn't have a huge wave of deaths among the elderly during COVID like near peer countries did. You want to know why? Because three brutal flu seasons killed all of the 'Most Likely To Die of COVID' contenders before COVID could. That should tell you a whole lot about who it kills and doesn't.
C) Swine Flu killed is estimated to have killed 600,000 people and nary a word was said about it after Obama demanded the CDC to stop tracking it (and got them to with much more than a week of bad press from the media).

You want to talk about deaths? In America, across the same timeframe, nearly 7 million people have died. As we're on a clip of about 2.8 a year, pushing 2.5 years now. #1 killer: 690,000 a year from heart disease, another 600k from all types of cancer. 250,000 a year from COVID-19.

Where are the burger lockdowns? The sunscreen mandates?

You know what did the most damage through all of this? Technology. Rapid testing gave governments the ability to know more than they ever did, so they leaned on it so hard, made so many bzyantine rules, and we all lost. A new vaccine for a virus type that for decades has evaded vaccines because of its mutation propensity makes it laugh at normal vaccines. Research groups that went around their own laws and guidelines and did gain of function research. Social media hysteria and 24/7 news cycles, and a weak understanding of basic statistics that allowed people to be blinded with bull**** COVID stats.

COVID literally couldn't have happened 30 years ago, because of gain of function research limits, but if it did it would have been over and done, and america would have trucked on just fine.

Oh were now allowed to use top level excess deaths here? And you're claiming all of those are straight up COVID deaths. No suicides or drug overdose due to lockdowns or vaccines reactions. Great. And would this be a good time when we bring up the age related breakout graphs that show a way way way above standard deviations of younger people dying that only appears after the vaccine comes out? A German healthcare exec said it would be equivalent to a 1-400 year random event for this many young people to die.

The first 2 jabs and maybe one booster helped with severity of disease and mortality rates in elderly and endangered populations.

The vax did not prevent spread of the virus which is the main point of a vaccine. We were lied to.

And when it all said and done, I think stats will show more unexpected sudden deaths in healthy young people who got the vax.

Anybody who gets the boosters now is nuts.

But unlike libs, I am not about forcing Americans to do anything they do not want to do. I will give what I think is good medical advice to my patients.
